Guys... We are not going to launch rockets on the d-day, it's a group ride... you just have to be mentally prepared to make the more fun out of your ride... just do the baisc preparation as praful mentioned and come for the ride... nights and rains are just a part of our everyday ride it's nothing new to us.. if not start experiencing it...
A smooth ride neither pushes your adrenaline nor remembered. You never know how much fun it gives when you tackle the hardest part of your ride...

Looks like the Bangalore boys intend on troubling our CFO Ravi a lot on the D-Day by having him collect the entire amount prior to the start of the ride.

Bangy Boyz, please make life easier for the CFO and core team by transferring the money if you have a HDFC/ICICI/Axis Bank Account. Will help in starting without any delays on the D-Day.

@Strider: Nothing to be confused. It just says expect 2-20 mm of rain till the 22nd. Now when that entire 20 mm of rainfall will be deposited is going to be anyone's guess

You will miss the 1 till Salem if you come on the P180 on the other hand you will miss the 180 once we enter Salem and climb the ghats and zoom around Yercaud. Take your pick, for majority of the journey its superb roads, but then rain is also almost a certainty.

@ people who are asking about originals. In south india, I have never been asked for originals but seeing the numbers of bikes going there, I would not be surprised if a policeman's eyes lit up and tries to make a quick buck. Carry the originals.

@ riders worried about the rain, it's the best time to ride, you don't have to worry about:
1. Dogs crossing the road
2. People crossing the road
3. Other small two wheelers
4. Cats, Cows, Monkeys, Elephants, Snakes, Donkeys crossing the road

Stop worrying about weather and enjoy the ride.
