As discussed a lot, we have to ride in the dark on both days. The fact that you will be riding in a group will make you forget this.

There are quite a lot of folks who ride in the dark wearing specs. Aparajith is a good example. He did some unknown routes (Delhi-Ambala NH1 and Mandi-Manali ghat section) in the dark wearing glasses and visor down.

Hmmm... Words of brave men should do good to instill courage.

Waiting for the D-Day though.

Noted the time, but anyhow you could send a SMS of exact take off time from CTC after your discussions over as i waited more than 45 min at the junction keeping me bored during pre ride to Amirthi

Ram, did you get those RVM's? I hope you realized its importance during our ride & Bangalore guys are very particular about this factor.

just got a DSG Nero and want to know if the inner thermal lining is gonna be required?

I think it was already posted in the thread earlier. Costs work out to 900 bux per head (might go up or down depending on final turnout), this is not inclusive of the Tee.

Sorry guys but i need to back out! I so wanted to get along on this ride but can't. For me riding in rain with spects is one big pain. So just have to let go of this ride for the time.

It's not a matter of ditching at the last moment but i've tried riding in rains and its just not working out for me.

@Praful/John please cancel my and Ajay's (Ajaarr) name from the final list.

I hope only riding in the rains is not your only concern, coz that would just be letting go of one helluva ride for a trivial reason.

Anyhow, your choice entirely. I am taking this as a final confirmation from you guys and canceling your names. But you have also confirmed for the Tee? Do you want to cancel that too? If no you will have to find someone who will collect the tee and make the payment on your behalf.

Expect slight amounts of rain....

Note from the friendly neighborhood weatherman: Carry Rain gear, there might be slight drizzling in the plains and a spell of showers early in the morning.

@Strider: The rains have gone here. And the sunny-hot days are back. The condition must be same at least till Vaniyambadi. However, I cannot comment on the Krishnagiri-Dharmapuri-Salem route. Let's see if someone else has any update.
