We expect to start soon after lunch, latest by 1:00 pm. The bad roads section between Harur will delay us a bit. Or, may be we can look at riding through Dharmapuri-Krishnagiri and skip the state highway. We can finalize this at the resort. But what ever the route is, expect a minimum of 2 hours of riding in the dark.

Raghav, you didn't even mean "O" of offend to me; I was surprised to hear that you're little skecptical on night drive. See I've a semi broken down vehicle & the only electricals that work on my motorcycle is headlights & yet I'm riding, don't worry we'll all share good motorcycling stories at Yercaud. Since 2 years, I am doing atleast 2 trips in highway in a months Either BLR-CHN(3:30 hrs) or BLR-CBE(4:30 hrs). I have never stopped by any cops for anything. I always ride in 3 digit speeds, 120-140kmph (bracketed my best timings^), I have seen Highway patrol just watching me. Guess, all pillions are aware that xbhp requires all riders to put on atleast basic protective gear and LID is a MUST...
@ John: It would be even better if the groups are formed based on the bike and the riders.
Say,
Considering each group has not more than 6 riders:
R15/100kmph, R15/90kmph, R15/80kmph, R15/60kmph, R15/-60kmph
P220/100kmph, P220/90kmph, ..........
It would give the riders the good confidence as all the bikes in the group are of similar model.Comment
