The new one has the kind of interior padding that the Cross and high end Vega helmets have... you got that for a 1000 bucks?

^^ Believe it or not, it is the new padding with the old graphics i saw his lid during the passion hunt, though i can't seen to find a shop that seems to offer that price

perfect.I got it in the shop new to sri padham.the sripadham guy said it will cost 1700 rs.

He quoted me Rs1800, I told about you, he remembered you well. He told me that you got it without the visor for Rs1000.

Now he's quoting me Rs1400 for the same helmet with visor...do you think this is a good deal?

Chennai - Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Pichavaram - Tharangambadi (or Tranquebar) - karaikal - Nagapattinam - Point Calimere.

let us see.I have never been through those roads.my thought was ride through the same rd find an isolated beach and spend time there.next day come down to pichavaram and spend time there and head back home before sunset.we will decide it on the way.

By the way, Tharangambadi / Point Calimere also has those isolated beaches. A quick google search showed me that the mangrove forests extend even till Point Calimere. So we wont be spoilt for choice, but just that we need to find a decent place!

Any idea how long is Kanyakumari from Point Calimere? might take a day off and visit Kanyakumari - one of those typical dream to visit the end of the road

Hey Ananth - that is interesting - in fact I was myself thinking of a two day ride to Kanyakumari and back - just for the heck of it - one day ride there and next day back - saw the route maps - Chennai to Kanyakumari says 700kms - through the NH - trichy - madurai route... so dunno the other route

I am not sure abt the distance from Nagapatinam.I think you head to trichy ..madurai and then to kanyakumari.it is about 360- 400 kms kms from trichy.it can be a 2 day ride but a 3 day ride will be omfortabel.you can visit the famous kovalam beach as well.
