Folks, I wanted to understand what is ownership demographic of Chennai Xbhp chapter. Can we ask all the riders from Chennai to post their Bike Model on the forum and do a ride to the track on 28th July for pay and practice. The cost is 1000 (to be confirmed per bike) for pay and practice.

There is a pay and practice on 28th July 2014 at the MMRT track in Irungattakottai.

We can learn the ropes from the more experienced people and have a connect too.

It would be fun to have all of us collectively there and provide us with an opportunity for extending the invitation to Bangalore and Hyderabad chapter. Maybe the moderators can help.

That is a point. The idea was that we could all meet and get some riding pointers. Having the safety gear is mandatory, let me check with them and find out if we can practice with the gear.

I don't have the gear and my bike is just 150km old. I don't intend to race but meeting all the enthusiasts, riding to the circuit, connecting and learning, makes me want to ask one and all to come together.

Mechanic for Kinetic Honda ZX in Chennai, Mylapore?

HELP ME FINDING A MECHANIC HERE IN CHENNAI, MYLAPORE/MANDAVELI FOR MY KINETIC HONDA ZX.

P.S: I want a mechanic in Mylapore or Mandaveli not other that that.

Nowadays finding a mechanic for my Kinetic Honda ZX is a BIG Problem
I changed 6-7 mechanics in the past 3 months for doing small works like accelerator cable replacing, carb tuning etc etc.
But the pickup is now dropped to the worst and mileage too! The mechanics doing up my Scooter are adraid to touch the engine side.

PLEASE HELP ME TO LOCATE A MECHANIC IN CHENNAI, MYLAPORE/MANDAVELI.

Chennai makkalae.. there are couple of big rides coming up.

1. September 2014 - Inter-state G2G meet - Karnataka-Tamil Nadu- Kerala and guests from neighboring states as well joining the meet. This we proudly present the 5th official Interstate Meet and Team Kerala is hosting this year at Wayanad. Previous year the count at Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu was 94! This year we expect to touch 3 digits.

Had wonderful ride to OOty, coonnoor, Kotagiri and Valparai last week. all in 3 days. 1400kms, ~38ltr of fuel, ~2900Rs., 1100Rs for stay, 660Rs for food, Toy train ride and so many hair pin bends.. all went well like planned. but it wasn't..
also saw some Yezdi guys returning from Valparai, could be some meet.
awesome climate and awesome roads. love the roads and countryside here. have not much of photgrphy done, just enjoyed the senery, greenery and silence of the hills.

hoping to do Coorg to Munnar on 15th Aug, any suggestions for route?

Sorry guys, its confirmed you need a full body suit. It does not have to be leather, but you need a proper jacket and riding pants with all the safety gear like elbow, knee and chest gaurds in place. You also need a proper helmet, if your helmet is slightly loose they won't allow.

I presume that this just going to a hangout only if anyone is joining.

Sorry guys, its confirmed you need a full body suit. It does not have to be leather, but you need a proper jacket and riding pants with all the safety gear like elbow, knee and chest gaurds in place. You also need a proper helmet, if your helmet is slightly loose they won't allow.

I presume that this just going to a hangout only if anyone is joining.

They allow jacket+riding pants? This is new, I thought only full race leathers were allowed. Are you sure about this information?
