LS2 is a value for money lid.. Its good for speeds upto 140-160kmph maybe, I'v not tried it at these speeds, it starts to move side to side once above 120kmph with crosswind.
You can get LS2 & few other brands at Helmet Paradise,Siddaiah Road,(opp. Urvashi Theater)B'lore. Ph 41496841..

LS2 is a value for money lid.. Its good for speeds upto 140-160kmph maybe, I'v not tried it at these speeds, it starts to move side to side once above 120kmph with crosswind.

Yes LS2 is the best helmet, get it from Helmet paradise.. If you bargain they will reduce the price and you can get the helmet at the best price ..... If you want SOL you can try in Ryder city 9008800777 which is adjacent shop to helmet paradise straight opposite to MTR hotel....

There are lot of fakes around j.c road. Choose right shop. Helmet paradise seems good for ls2. For SOL try lets gear up from hsr layout.

Very recently bought an LS2 from Helmet Paradise (opposite Urvashi Theatre). You will guaranted get original helmet from them. Also build a rapport with the amiable sales guy and you can get a good bargain (like I did ). A very good helmet, manageable wind noise at 90 kmph. DOT rated, ECE9 rated and good graphics with 2 year walk in warranty - all this at a decent price. What more does one want?

100% sure that the guy there will quote price in the range of 3300 - 3400. If you are willing to drop that kind of money then do look at SOL helmets (starting price Rs4000) or Sparx Helmets (Rs5000).

DOT and Ece rated LS2 :surprise: you sure you got a newer model? IiRC DOT certified LS2s were sold 3 4 years back. AAfter that ECE ones came into market. I dont remember seeing an LS2 which is both DOT and ECE rated. The newer LS2 models are pathetic in construction, though they are flasy, which is the selling point for most youngsters.

Ok my bad. Just checked, the inside label says ECE and thats it. But from what I know ECE ratings were always slightly more stringent than DOT ratings. Don't know anything about the older models but yeah I would agree that the newer ones aren't that up to the mark. And I haven't bought a newer model per se, it is the older model (FF350) that has been around for ages. But the sticker inside says the manufacturing as May 2013.
