Had a friend of mine to check out decathlon. I needed bungee cords for my upcoming ride but the costs there were 300/-. So I thought of buying it later. Divya Sharan- I saw the pic of your cords when you posted a pic of your bike in your chennai ride album on fb. Just two cords were enough? Where did you buy them and what's the price?
Also am looking for a tank bag which is just big enough to hold a dslr. Checked out nh4 motorheads online but the quality seems a bit low for a bag which costs 3k. Does anyone have any idea of a particular bag model or any store here where I can check them out?

Pitstop k bagal wala dukaan. 6 cords cost me 150 bucks.
I carry 3-4 cords all the time, but 2 are enough.

I used Viaterra tank bag. Kept my cam, mobile, wallet and rain gear easily in it.
Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Extremely sorry guys! It was a sudden decision because I had made up my mind to not go for any rides till next year but the rider inside couldn't resist. I was also feeling very sad because the thread was lying dead for three full days and believe me, I was exceedingly close to post the plan here but some last moment opinions changed that.

We will have our regular share of rides from next year on, beginning from Jan; 'till then enjoy your time.
One more suggestion that I would like to make is, please post your intentions here too so that we all get an idea. xBhp has been crucial and memorable in bringing riders alike so do not hesitate.

PS - It was only me & my friend, Suvra and Mr. nooblet doing Lepakshi and a bit more.
PPS - Awesome ride, it was - especially riding through the dense fog in the morning (I wasn't able to see even 10 ft. of road ahead).

PPPS(BAKAR SUMMARY) -
I learnt a lot of interesting history
Logic and Art do not go hand in hand
The shadow of an Avenger looks like a HD in our unconscious mind
Riding an Avenger felt like God/riding any other Avenger
Bengalis go blind-eating when they see sweets
Some retro looking camera can be extremely expensive
I repeat, nooblet is in no way, a noob - read Antiquity, PS, XBOX, Animal and Human photographer, blogger and rider
I also learnt that one should not hold back in eating sweets when there is a plate full of it infront of you and a bengali friend of yours is looking at it too

Also, never ever, ever eat in the Govt. hotel that comes before taking left to Lepakshi.

Do you have riding gear? Also, are you comfortable with night rides? I mean, something like starting from home by 3 AM or 3:30 AM?

bhai..the only way to the half moon beach or the paradise beach is by trek or by boat..hope i told you that/hope you know that. The only accessible beaches by roads are the Om Beach and the Kudle Beach . Hope you already made your plan accordingly.
