Here is the 7th xbhp Bangalore ride details and a bit longer one this time.

Ride date: 12th Jan(Sunday)
Ride destination: Yellagiri Hills,Tamil Nadu

Meeting Point: Land Rover Showroom, Service Road, Sector 6, HSR Layout, Bangalore, Karnataka.(Mentioned as Point A in Map)

And as Ambur town is nearby we will go for famous Ambur Star Biryani to Ambur Town: route : http://tinyurl.com/k2twa6h
So in total distance will be 370 for this ride.

Everyone will meet up and proceed together from Land Rover Showroom start sharp at 5:10am
Start time: 5:10am


Mandatory things: All necessary Docs like DL, RC Card, Insurance papers and Emission Control Card.
Basic Riding gears including Helmet, Armoured Jacket, Gloves, Knee guards and Elbow Guards. Same applicable for pillions also.

A word of utmost caution/importance: Please be on time.
Also please Fill up the tank a day before, before going to sleep.
Those who have ridden with us earlier are strictly instructed to be in compete riding gears, else you will be asked to continue your own ride. People joining for the first time and are not having proper riding gear they are advised to have proper helmet, a thick jacket, proper denim jeans, shoes.
No rash riding will be inculcated and everyone has to follow the group riding etiquettes.

Hoping to start latest by 5:10-5:15 am and if we take 1 small break(considering varied types of riders with various attitude) we will be on top in 2 hrs and/or quarter more.
And if it is Yelagiri so it has to be Ambur Biryani, rider in me craves for good food always

Those who are joining, kindly confirm and coordinate! We do not want someone to wait in despair looking for fellow bikers. Inform the leader so that he/she can keep a tab on your presence.

A sincere request to those who have already ridden with us - Kindly come in full gears and please do not compel us to be harsh. Likewise for RVMs too. If we did not say anything in the past, it only shows that we were being tolerant thereby increasing the risks for the whole ride. Remember, we are all responsible for each other in a group ride. Hereafter, nothing of this sort will be entertained. Accept for the first timers, everyone else is expected to follow the drill.

Shouldn't be a problem but the essence of group riding is a bit lost and especially individuals like yourself will be highly missed. In any case you are free to do so. If I may ask, what could be the possible reason? - your venturesome nature, speed run or we are too slow for your knacks

Possibly the first one - too venturesome. I've for long now had this thirst to redo parts of NH 234 that connects Chikballapur near Nandi Hills to Gudiyattam near Ambur. Probably make a circuit out of the Sunday... NH 7 and NH 46 is too frequented for me to do it twice on a lovely riding Sunday but i'd also hate to miss the experience of group riding with everyone in our typical staggered convoy. Speed run - not at all, a very controllable urge... i get out of control on bendy curves though... like most men I guess .

I was there around 3.30 pm; you said you'll come pick your khatara by evening 6, then When DAFUQ didya go to RE? - BTM and HSR showrooms are almost equidistant and would close by the time you make it till there, unless, of course, you use jet packs. So please *explain this $h!t*!!!

Ab Saturday tera HAPPY BIRTHDAY to tha nai jo R.E service centre bandh rahega, i went on saturday and tuned my ECU.

Sorry bro am still not in bangalore yet..would be reaching on 12th so i would not be able to join the ride. In the meantime i am involved in couple of rides in and around kolkata..would share those exp with you soon.

Remember you said you had an extra pair of knee guards you want to trade during Dudhsagar Ride? Anyway, will get myself a pair nonetheless... just sick of bad knee guards in the market. Cramster Knee guards are worthless.
