Now, to the main topic of concern. Vagamon has only few budget hotels/shacks/whatever south of 4k per night and the "other" group has 40 odd members riding to Vagamon and their booking is done. Of course, few more may be able to get accommodation now, that would mean nuisance over the entire period of stay. 40+ is not a group, it is a crowd.
Managing a crowd isn't easy with 40 minds wishing to do 40 different things.
Hope, this makes matters clear. Moreover, Gokarna is closing for tourists (80% of the place including Om beach) from next year because a Navy port is coming up there. Vagamon can be done silently later.
