@saquib3005, @Sunil Pradhan - need your help.
Bangalore to Bokaro. I need a list of pitstops in Andhra and Odisha where I can stop at a decent hotel with a rest room without having to enter any big city.

EDIT - planned dates are April 1st to April 12th 2015.

BLR - Tirupati - Nellore - Vijayawada - Vizag - Ichchapuram - Bhubaneshwar - Cuttack - Purulia - Bokaro.

Need to discuss best route between Cuttack and Purulia with you (if you have any idea) and @saquib3005.

Sorry for the delay.

I inquired about road conditions throughout the route and this is the rough plan:

BLR - Kolar - Tirupati - Srikalahasti - Gudur - Nellore - Ongole - Vijaywada - Rajahmundry - Anakapalle (bypassing Vishakhapatnam) - Srikakulam - Ichchapuram - Brahampur - Bhubaneshwar - Cuttack - Bhadrak - Balasore - Kharagpur - Bankura - Bokaro Steel City.

Excuse me for the Delay.
Any day I will pick up the third route(mentioned above in third quote) because of various reasons.
BLR-Kolar-Chittoor- Tirupati-Nellore-Ongole-Vijaywada-Rajahmundry- Anakapalle-Srikakulam-Ichhapuram- Brahampur- Bhubaneshwar- Cuttack - Bhadrak-Balasore-Kharagpur-Bankura-Asansol- Dhanbad- BKSC.

BLR-Kolar-Chittoor- Tirupati-Nellore-Ongole-Vijaywada-Rajahmundry- Anakapalle: Faster route and can be covered in a day.
Post Brahampur- will suggest you to not ride after daylight. Though its safe but this place is highly risky in night.
After Cuttack better take Bhadrak- Balasore-Kharagpur route and dont think of Jamshedpur-Purulia route on bike. Highly risky because of lots of Maoists presence, who may leave you without wallet, bike and mobile phone anytime.
Post Bankura just try to touch GT Road near Raniganj as soon as possible and you can rip till Dhanbad.
Dont enter Asansol city bypass it.
Dhanbad to Bokaro is in worst conditions with craters all around.

There are Lots of food option on this complete route.

And if you can promise ownself to cover Balasore to Jamshedpur in Daylight following or be along with any other big vehicle anytime then you can take another route.
From Balasore take left on SH5 to to Rajaloka and continue on SH33 till Jamshedpur.If you can cover with a presence of mind with no danger on this route then take this route till Jamshedpur.
From Jamshedpur : Jamshedpur - Chandil - Tamal - Namkum (Dont enter City)- Mesra - Omanjhi - Gola - Petarbar - Bokaro: This route is very fast and good tarmac.
Also there is a much broader and cleaner road in Between Mesra and Gola so one can easily by pass the mess of Ramgarh and can directly skip to enter Petrabar and then Bokaro.

Thanks for the detailed help bhai jaan! I plan to halt at Cuttack on day 2. Will start at 5 am types from there and try to be at home before sunset.

It is time to plan another overnight G2G ride for the xBhp Bangalore chapter. The tentative time of this ride would be in the month of April, mostly in the later half of the month. We have already started planning and chalking down the different options for this ride, and would be shared on this forum, once confirmed. We would also be taking polls from the interested members to get a headcount. Stay tuned!

Hi Bangalore people,

Anyone interested in doing a long sprint post April 5th? My course ends on 5th and I just heard that we're permitted to stay in the hostel for another weak to make transportation arrangements, so during that time I thought to make the best out of it by going on a long run.

My options are-

1. Hampi.
2. Mumbai.

Or if you have any other recommendations then kindly do suggest.
