A short G2G happened today at the Kunigal Lake. The plan was impromptu and not many could make it to the ride, however, the time spent was good and we got to see the sunset.

xBhp Bangalore 16th G2G Ride

xBhp Bangalore chapter will be riding to Chikmagalur, for the 16th G2G ride. It is time to enjoy an overnight stay a midst the forest in the lap of Western Ghats, far away from the city life, yet again. The details are as follows:

Ride Date: 25th April, 2015 (Saturday)
Ride start time: 05:30 AM
Ride end Date: 26th April, 2015 (Sunday)
Ride end time: 10:00 PM
Ride Gathering Point: Neelamangala-Mangalore Exit

Ride Destination: Chikmagalur
Mandatory things: All necessary Docs like DL, RC Card, Insurance papers and Emission Control Paper.
Basic Riding gears including Helmet, Armoured Jacket, Gloves, Knee guards and Elbow Guards. Same applicable for pillions also.

A word of utmost caution/importance: Please be on time.
Also please Fill up the tank a day before, before going to sleep.
Those who have ridden with us earlier are strictly instructed to be in compete riding gears, else you will be asked to continue your own ride. People joining for the first time and are not having proper riding gear they are advised to have proper helmet, a thick jacket, proper denim jeans, shoes.
No rash riding will be tolerated and everyone has to follow the group riding etiquette.

Please note that we are in talks with multiple homestays around Chikmagalur to see what suits best to our budget (expected budget to be 1500/- per person including stay and food) and once confirmed, the same would be updated in this thread.

take nh7 till Gooty nd from there on the mantralayam route.should take a max of 8 hrs to reach.

Another alternate is to take nh7 till Kurnool nd take diversion to d Raichur route.

As per the Event details:

"The plan is to do a small ride on the NICE Road and culminate the ride at some nice hotel/restaurant and have breakfast plus small felicitation ceremony there.

So lend us a gloved hand, and a kiss on the helmet and join us in Bengaluru for a small get-together and ride on March 14, 2015, Saturday, at 6 a.m."

The reporting time for the Bengaluru meet is 6 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015. The meeting point would be Kanakpura entry point to the NICE road. The exact details of the initial meetup point and the ride culmination point will be declared soon.
