Hi Bangalore people,

Anyone interested in doing a long sprint post April 5th? My course ends on 5th and I just heard that we're permitted to stay in the hostel for another weak to make transportation arrangements, so during that time I thought to make the best out of it by going on a long run.

My options are-

1. Hampi.
2. Mumbai.

Or if you have any other recommendations then kindly do suggest.

Try hill stations or else it would be too hot. Munnar would be a good option

Already been to Munnar, its barely a 700~800km round trip from my native. Ive been in Bangalore for the past two years and have'nt been anywhere except for Nandi Hills, so wanted to make the most out of it before I leave.

April the temparatures wud b slowly rising above 30-35.

I wud suggest uttar Kannada and gokarna wud b better option with d forest and d seas.

Guys, how long does it take to reach Kodaikanal and then to Munnar from Bangalore? Will be on a RE TBTS? And best route? Safe to travel at night?

Bangalore - Krishnagiri - Salem - Karur - Didigul - Bathalagundu - Kodi - Pls set aside about 10 hours for the trip for safer side including minimal breaks
Kodi - Palani - Marayoor - Munnar - About 6.5 hour AND 5 hours via Bathalagundu - Bodi - Devikulam

Till Chinar its safe to ride at night, but once you enter Chinar wildlife Sactuary, you have to be careful. Also if you are very late at night and alone, the forest guards hesitate to let you in for your own safety, the roads are very narrow and thick flora along the sides of the road makes it even difficult to spot wildlife crossing. As far as possible try to do this stretch in the night. Major points where you can miss out if riding at night are Salem flyover and Dindugal Flyover as there are hardly any boards visible at night.

Hi Everyone,

I will be riding to Belum caves and Gandikota on 13th and 14th of March.
If anyone is free to meetup or could join for the ride @ Manipal, Chitradurga, Davangere, Bangalore or in AP would be great.

This is the plan so far:
Day 1: 12th March_ Rding from Manipal to Chitradurga Starting @ 6am
Day 2: 13th March_ Riding from Chitradurga to Belum Caves and Gandikota, starting @ 8am
Day 3: 14th March_ Riding from Gandikota to Bangalore, starting @ 9am
Day 4: 15th March_ Riding back to Manipal
