Mind blowing Shashank; I guess the hard work was by your friend there I am gonna borrow a few for my collection if you don't mind. Let me know the person or cameraman name to be credited.

PS - Our beloved G2G thread has reached 800 pages; 'guess from around ~680 till here, we owned it!!! - bakar & banter is part and parcel of it but the thread is hot for first timers. Kudos to all the wonderful souls who kept the momentum, you've been instrumental in all the aspects. While progressing through the last hundred pages, we've made many sublime friends, been to a number significant rides together, shared moments that we will remember forever, looked each others back in harsh times, have had numerous unofficial and non-ride G2Gs for multiple occasions, pulled each others leg like there's no tomorrow, had our own share of ups and downs at times.

All for a common passion that we share - Biking! xBhp doesn't pay me or any of you for any of these. We ride because we love to ride and thankfully this community has given us so much more than just riding. I just thought of sharing my thoughts, that's why the post - I cannot thank you guys enough for keeping up with me, bearing my poor jokes, dealing with my problems etc. so much friendliness that you even thought of buying me a smart@$$ phone just to join you guys on whatsapp! It may be the most sarcastic joke but what matters is the fact that it came as a thought.

I guess that's enough talk for now and I know that for a few this will be a surprise as there is no Bakar session update this time. Looking forward to a fun-filled year of riding and bonding.

I wouldn't mind reading someone else's summary too. I know that it is a public forum but discussing along the lines of the forum community is not something unconventional. So please feel free to write your views and experiences on the past 100 pages of this thread

The pillion was Sujit.
and Chaosadddict's pic with the FZ was edited by me ;-)

Please let's plan something for this weekend.
I also needed the opinion of everyone who were in this trip on my biking skills as I am pretty new to this scene. It was a learning experience and I hope to get more opportunities.
Planning to buy a good tank bag and jacket as well, but paisa illa boss !! !

P.S - While returning I did not see anyone near the electronic city toll or the silkboard, guess I was way behind :-)
Next time can we please have a pre-designated end of trip meet up point ??. It's a very good setting to have a pic after the trip.

Good pointer as the new guy in the block. We all have noticed the same - It doesn't happen always but this time it unfortunately happened. A lot of factors are responsible for this. The group formation just broke while returning, to an extent impossible to amend. There are reasons but lets leave it at that and take the good memories back. Constant efforts are going on to make the ride better each and every time.

Though I am not qualified for this, I will just share my opinion - you were a good team player. Invest in good gears once you have money, first on the list is the helmet.
I am not sure about this weekend but there will be plenty of opportunities in the future; I know how this biking feel keeps bugging you!

Looking forward to ride with you in the future.

firstly i would like to say..awesome pics my friend! these pics do tell how fantastic the ride was..thanks to you and special thanks to Sujit for clicking these candid pictures.
secondly..about the pre-designated end point, yes normally in the group ride we do have pre-designated stops, not only end point but also one/two stops in the middle for refreshments/in-ride bakar. But i did not understand what went wrong this time while coming back, riders started ripping-off and there was no group-ride back as such. Hence the coordination gap. We would definately make sure this situation does not get repeated and my urge to every rider out here that when there is a group ride, the intention is to ride together and not to show the power/capability of the steed. There may be riders in the group who ride inferior steeds and we should make sure that they are in no case left/fallen behind. I really hope everyone takes this in a healthy mentality and contribute in making the forthcoming group rides even better!

Another point I would like to bring into notice of my fellow riders out here. When a ride is in the planning stage ( I mean to say that when we are in the phase of deciding route map for the ride), we normally come across multiple routemaps from various riders out here. We should respect each routemap and put them into consideration while deciding the final route for the G2G ride. Afterall, it is us who would be riding together as one group.

The points I brought forth here are solely what I feel with the sole intention of making the future rides better and keep the spirit healthy withing the group. People may hold different opinions here and I do respect that and urge everyone to contribute their bit as well.

Thanks, the end point discussion was bought up because while returning from Ambur I tried my best to catch up but I was with a pillion and was too slow.
I really thought we would be meeting up in Bangalore at the end and have a good group photograph.

Even though I wasn't in this ride.
The incoherence of our riders while returning is nothing new , last time this happened we were coming back from saquib3005 coffee in Kolar
But that was a lot of fun
We immediately realized what we did was wrong and decided not to do this again, but Alas, I guess, Riders will Riders

On a serious note guys, let's try to figure out a way to get this problem fixed.

True dat... nice photo op, missed it.

... I'm pretty sure I was the last in line after an irritatingly long 40 min phone call somewhere near Krishnagiri. I came storming through and waited for about 20 mins for any of our guys at Nice Rd Up ramp on Hosur Rd... You took the elevated rd to Silk Board right? I thought I did see you guys going towards the elevated road. Anyway could be completely mistaken.

I've experienced riding in sub-groups in Bullet Clubs when numbers are above 8 bikes. It works well if sub groups form up naturally (usually happens in rides longer than 2 days). I find a good thing to do is have a 3 Point strategy - 3 Main Points per ride day where everyone HAS to regroup while some wait and some catch up (Start Point, Mid Point and End Point)... ride naturally and let riding clumps form up that automatically match each others riding styles. Make sure someone takes the responsibility of messaging in the updates to the Ride Lead and things should flow naturally well. Lone sharks can update the lead/sweep via text message while nobody has to wait for them.

I've seen experienced groups with everyone on 1 kind of bike become more fractured than we were on our way back. xBhp by itself is a very broad platform with different kinds of bikes with different sweet spots and addictions that we as riders want to chew on, it is but natural... its best if we keep a relaxed yet strong guideline to help the group have the leverage to do what they want and yet snap back with tenacity when required.

Getting to 800 pages... woah.. brilliant... lets RIDE it to 1300 what say? Thanks for the stats chaosaddict

Cheers everyone... keep the banter on the upside...

Phenomenal shots G1 (You're name is like a Litre class super-sports from an award winning Japanese Motorcycle manufacturer... so are the shots, you do have a Japanese camera from an award winning manufacturer too I guess... not that it matters more than the eyes behind the viewfinder)... Enjoyed your shots thoroughly.
