Thinking of doing a leisure motography trip in & around Coorg this weekend (16th / 17th)... Anyone interested ??? My contact details can be found on 'Hello Bangalore' thread... As of now, its only two, me & Biju (The same guy who made it Kudremukh & other places)... His participation is tentative and will confirm it by 7 PM tonight or so... If we get to stay @ Home-Stays away from the city with modest budget, therez nothing like it :P

Planning to cover Madikeri, TalaKaveri, Abbe Falls, Nisargadhaama, Bylkoppa... If i've missed out any interesting places, please suggest...

near napoklu, there is a waterfall called chaluvarayana waterfall, try exploring that and then near by there is a king's palace which is enroute to tadiyandamol (sp?). From the palace, just take the road to this hill, it won't go all the way, but the incline is something experience

Its Chelavara falls. Chelavara is a village. The waterfall is almost dried up in summer. Last heard, there was a summer camp for kids, with white water rafting in stagnant water.

Route: Madikeri - Napoklu - Kakkabe - Kabbinakad Junction - Cheyyandane - Kadanga - Kadanoor - Virajpet.

Diversions:
a. Kabbinakad Junction - Nalkunad - Thadiyandamol
b. Cheyyandane - Chelavara

i had been there.
the auditions was cancelled!!
so from there, went to the free pulsar service camp on police parade grounds.
they were selling engine oil (valvoline 4T premium) at half rate!!!!
and i also got a 3M bike wax polish and other stuff for FREE!!!
