You want a HID kit with both Hi/Lo beam as HID or Lo beam ordinary & Hi beam as HID ? There is this place on R V Road, near my place who has this kit. I tested the kit on my FZ it's okay. Both are 6000K rating. But I would suggest you to stick to 100/90 lighting, that's better. The kit that I tested came with a new type ballast & a relay too, so that it doesn't drain your battery. I got the kit fitted & got the battery checked, it was charging perfectly. If you want any more details you can contact me on 98451 23554.

But GD, don't you think that reflectors made for 35W will melt with a 100/90 lighting? Just a query, I thought it would definitely melt away as there are reports of 60/55W melting away reflectors made for 35W. He has a Apache RTR by the way.

Best Map website

hey guys...
i was checking out the routemap from bangalore to ooty.
it shows a route via gudalur but i am pretty sure there is a shorter steeper one around.

so wanted to know which is the best website around for checking out routemaps.
any suggestions ?

Ask for Kalhatti route. Get till mudumalai and take a left turn at the 'Y' junction after entering tamilnadu. That will take you through the 36 hairpin bends.

yup... the left from the 'Y'; where Roja film climax was shot. thats short but drinks up a lot of fuel. yeah, thats the route i was talking about.

total: 299.22kms.
no alternative routes given.

then i checked out google maps. it showed:
bhandipur - mudumalai - the left to ooty
total: 271kms.

and google maps showed the previous route too and has option to click and drag to change route.

now thats pretty interesting for google maps. the first time i checked it actually.
so well, is there any other sites which are good for a traveller? apart from google maps and mapmyindia?
