TVS Racing Training Academy in association with the Rajini Academy of Competitive Racing conducted a day-long training session for female riders. For 2017, TVS Racing has initiated an exclusive training session and selection process for women riders to qualify and race in the TVS Ladies One-Make Series 2017.
TVS Racing organizes the TVS One Make Championship at the Madras Motor Race Track and at the Buddh International Circuit in Noida. TVS has initiated the One Make Championship in India in 1994. The TVS Apache One Make Championship gives an opportunity for young racers to showcase their skills on the race track. The TVS Racing Training School provides guidance for young racers to hone their skills. Experts oversee young racers who are provided race spec machines to give them a complete track experience.
30 women riders attended the day-long briefing and training session supervised by Rajini Krishnan and TVS Racing’s Jagan Kumar. Post the sessions, TVS Racing announced that 15 women racers were selected based on their riding skills and passion. They will compete in 4 races as part of the TVS Ladies One-Make Series 2017 to be hosted along with MMSC.
