Yamaha has launched the new MT-07 based touring motorcycle named Yamaha Tracer 700 in Europe. The company has expanded its adventure touring line-up with the Tracer 700. In terms of design, the motorcycle looks similar to the elder sibling MT-09 Tracer.
Bringing the touring capabilities to one of the most affordable and fun packages in the market, the Yamaha Tracer700 is identical to the MT-07 in terms of mechanics. It uses the same 689cc parallel twin engine that produces 74BHP at 9,000rpm and 68Nm at 6,500rpm. The tank capacity has grown from 14 to 17 litres for long distance touring and suspension settings have also been revised for the same.
In a bid to make the motorcycle more touring friendly the swing-arm on this motorcycle is 50mm longer than the MT-07. Yamaha has also included a manual height adjust system for the windscreen as well as hand-guards with incorporated indicators.
The Yamaha Tracer 700 is priced at 6,299 pounds in UK and it will go on sale from July onwards in red, blue and black colour.
