Indeed it is. I kept myself away from P220S because of the weight. It is little problematic in my House and in my Town considering the roads.

Should I go for 180 or 135?
I already told you, if you ride it at highway, go for P180. Else for city zig-ag P135LS rocks.

Guys. Its so embarrasing for me, that it takes so long for me to decide a bike. I need a bike which has pickup/weight like RX. And I shouldnt easily loose in the signals (very important). Suggest me a bike. I know Apache is a love for everyone here and lot of good things about it, but I am not much impressed with the looks compared to pulsar ( Is it justified ?).
Apache has better pickup than P150/P180. But I personally prefer the riding position in P150/P135LS better.

True. I test drove RTR180 this evening..the moment I turned on the ignition; I said WOW. And the first 3 gears was so like RX135. This has the best pickup of the lot but on the higher gears P180 is better. Apache has the vibration which is so notorious and I felt it today.

Which did you find to heve more vibrations? The P135 or the RTR 180? Were they too disconcerting?

Today I drove my friends RTR180 again to check the vibration. On top end RTR180 has vibrations, though less than RTR160. I have yet to test P135LS vibrations since I am in running in and can't cross 45kmph. In low-mid range they are similar.

RTR 180 has vibrations, but when you feel this machines pickup and roar...You will be ready to live with the vibrations . One reason I didnt go for RTR180 -> I personally dont like the styling of it; gets me a feel of normal bikes.

even for me, every pillion complains of vibration not jus in the foot pegs, but even up to the crack of their "u know where"

It's very strange for me coz I generally don't experience any over the top vibration on my foot pegs or my seat while they are complaining. Once one of my friends riding pillion couldn't tolerate the vibrations that he had to take his foot off the pegs

I remember, when I had my 180, there were these guys on RX100 and me and my girlfriend on my 180. Me and she probably weighed an average of 75 each but guess what? the RX100 with 2 guys on it simply couldn't catch up from a stop.. I just revved to the limit on every gear...

Coming to my 135 now.. If you got someone with you in the back seat, forget about pickup.. but if you are alone.. u got a good chance to beat a 180 off the signal if you get the rev range and gear shift spot on!! coz it's as light as a RX100(figuratively)

Yes, pickup falls a lot. But you keep revving 1k rpm more, pickup will be decent. I managed 45kmph solo at 3-4k rpm and with a pillion, around 5k rpm.

Apparently bikes have been recalled in Indonesia to rectify a faulty starter motor. Any of you guys have had a faulty starter motor? Or have you ridden thousands of kms without any problems?

Don't think such problems are reported here i.e. in India. I've completed 6k kms in 6 months.. no such problems. Press the start button.. it comes to life just like that.. no matter how cold is the morning
