When I took the delivery, the showroom manager said that only 8 bikes (all black) have arrived and as I was the first to book so I was given the opportunity to choose my bike from the 8. He also said that next lot may take 1-1.5 months to arrive.Originally posted by debayan View PostCongrats Dude..I have booked one too but they have said the first lot contains only 6 135ls,so have to wait a little..anyway Black is looking awesome..

I can't get you. Are you trying to say that the P135LS has mainly 4-valve character and not the pulsar trademark character ? If it is so, then you are partially right. During run-in, one can not feel the pulsar character (pulsar grunt) we are familiar with as the speed limit is 45 kmph for first 1000 km. The familiar pulsar grunt kicks in only after 5k rpm which means above 50 kmph speed.Originally posted by Hanith View PostAtlast its good to see a 4 VALVEian ( Not Pulsarian

Obviously you are not going compare your p220 with p135..are you??I guess p180 n p220 are in different ligue.I don't think there is much difference between p135 n p150 performance wise.1.3NM torque n .59BHP don't make any difference in usual stop n go traffic.Engine sound is different than other pulsar siblings though may be from that side u can say that it's not like other of it's sibling but performance wise considering it's only p135 the figures are quite impressive..Originally posted by Hanith View PostAtlast its good to see a 4 VALVEian ( Not Pulsarian

performance wise.. the figures are fcukin' awesome.. As already posted by me on the P135LS news thread, the power:weight ratio for P135 is only below following bikes:
P220
R15
P180
ZMR
ZMA
The above list is great company to keep as far as Power:weight ratios are concerned. The commuter riding position and light weight is a boon for older/less muscular riders. Ideal upgrade for someone who owns a Splendor and wants to keep it light.
Anyways congrats YoungBoy_220 on your new steed. Look for a set of twisties now and get the run-in done. I would say the twisties are the best place to run-in you bike.. you as-it-is cant go very fast, and you will be constanly varying your speed/gear/RPM when crossing a twisty, so a recipie for the ideal run-in.Last edited by antz.bin; 01-09-2010, 01:16 AM.Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Ya, you are right, it is a very good performer. It has a great pull and could pull easily from speed as low as 20 kmph to 50 kmph without any stress on the engine in top gear.Originally posted by antz.bin View Postperformance wise.. the figures are fcukin' awesome.. A little Query
Could someone please tell me how to check the front Disc brake fluid level. I can not see anything through the inspection window provided. Should I throw some bright light on the window to see it or what ?
My front wheel was not rotating that freely as the rear wheel and a slight sound was coming from the disc like the pads were getting constantly rubbed by the disc when the wheel is rotated by hand with bike on centre stand. I took it to service centre yesterday. Firstly, they told that it is normal for wheels fitted with disc brake and refused to check the problem at all. But, after a little bit of coaxing, one mechanic took my bike inside and opened the whole black thing (I don't know what it is called) on the disc and inserted a screw driver in the opening, i.e., the place which hugs the disc, and did something (maybe increased the space between the disc pads a bit) and then he fitted it back. He then gave a hard rotation to the wheel with his hand and said see now it is moving more freely than before. Ya, truely the wheel rotation got a bit more free than before but still a little sound is coming from the disc to which the mechanic said that as it is new, this sound is coming and after running for few hundred kms. and usage of the disc brake, the sound would go normally. But, I was not convinced and took my bike home. Could anybody here please confirm me that the little sound on disc and a little not free nature of the front wheel is normal for a new bike run only 50 km till now ?sigpic
