How is it that your last 3 posts on this thread have been at the exact same time on 3 different days? i.e. 7:52 AMAdvice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

I didn't notice that. But, normally I get up in the morning around 7:30 a.m. and after that till 8 a.m. I am online. So, then I post and by coincidence I posted the 3 days at the same time.sigpic

That misalignment problem is a common sight with most Bajaj and TVS bikes. I have changed 3 (Yes, THREE) swingarms for my bike and now its in line. Well, almost
But i tell you, this mis alignment is due to the swingarm. I watched them change the swingarm in my bike each and every time and i could see the difference.
When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

I didn't tried measuring 0-60 kmph timing. But it reaches to 60 fast even with very little opening of throttle.Originally posted by Mohan91 View Postyoungboy_220
can you tell in how much seconds does p135 reaches 60kmph .

. If the misalignment is due to swingarm, then at 1st service I will get on their heads (and a mail to Bajaj if nothing works) to change my bike's swingarm and bring it in line.

its fun to ride
bought bike on 24 Dec(black)
Completed 350 kms. I can't really stop myself to the adviced speedlimit of 55kmph before the first servicing.
sometimes I ride at 65-70 kmph as i get long signal free strtches.
will go for servicing @ around 600 kms. hope to do it next week.
awesome experience riding the bike.
my diskbrakes have discoloured because it is rubbing somewhere
front tyre is not fully free....hope to get it corrected in first servicingbiker

@snp:
I have completed 400 kms. and will go for first servicing at about 600-700 kms. most probably next to next week.
I got mileage aroung 55 kmpl with riding within 60 kmph most of the times and sometimes sudden bursts to 80-85 kmph. I also can't restrict myself to speed limit of 45 kmph till first 1000 kms. mentioned in manual.
Swingarm is the main component between the rear suspensions holding the rear wheel. It is used to hold the rear axle firmly while pivoting vertically to allow the suspension to absorb bumps in the road.
My front wheel is also tight and does not rotate freely and disc screeching sound is emitted while moving the front wheel. Once I went to svc and got it corrected but from the next day itself the case was same. At first service i will get it completely corrected by getting on their heads.sigpic

Hi
i got my bike on 17th jan 321 kms on Odo and the screeching sound is becoming low, i think it because the disc breaks on Indian bikes are mostly passive(as available on internet) i.e one side is touching the disc and the pistons is on the other.
mean while i noticed my swing arm though the mudguard is not in the center the tyre is is perfectly in center i think its the misalignment of the mudguard frame.
kick start not working problem is also present on my bike when i took it to service centre i knew that the autochoke is not working they told me the same and they also said idle temp for autochoke is 20C and because of cold it is not working properly. i got in touch with another owner of 135 he also said its not working thought it starts in only one crank(electric start) that's why i m not worried about it but if i turn the accelerator a little bit engine dies that's why i am sure that auto-choke is not working and now i m wondering that why bajaj chose to install auto-choke in all of their bikes if its not working properly.

Ya, my bike's disc brake screeching sound has lessened also. The tyre is perfectly in line but the mudguard and tail portion are not in line.Originally posted by nipunblaze135LS View PostHi

If the auto-choke does not work in most of the bikes, then why Bajaj did give it ? Manual choke would have been way better.sigpic

first visit to service station
I told the guys over there tht my front wheel is tight, they showed me tht every bike had a tight front wheel
when i said tht my disk brake is rubbing somewhere and ws getting discloured, then too they showed me the some old bike with discoloured disk brake
when i start the bike with throttle zero, it starts off as if m twisting the throttle, i guess tht is the effect of autochoke nd its working fine.
they are asking Rs 500 for the two oil changes in first servicing, is it fine???biker

Two oil change ? ? ?Originally posted by snp View PostI told the guys over there tht my front wheel is tight, they showed me tht every bike had a tight front wheel

What do you mean by that ? Rs. 500 is a bit more. Engine oil should not cost that much. Btw, did you get Bajaj DTSi 10000 Engine Oil (as recommended in Owner's Manual) poured in your Bike ?
