  • hmm.. I think we had enough discussion on this already anyways.. check idle rpm & air-fuel mixture screw (get this done with a good mechanic's help).. that should fix the problem..

But.. when I had similar problem in my friend's old fiero.. we had to replace accelerator cable apart from correcting idle rpm.

    • aah sorry for the brief silence.. been a bit busy..

check out the new rear tyre..

its a TVS 110/80 (tubeless) One tht RTR 180 comes with.. i tubed it though..
      gives good grip at cornering...
acceleration has decreased by a fraction..

removed the rear tyre hugger.. babe was lookin too skinny with the stock 100/90 tyres. So i had to do it

ahh yes creates good fountain when driven through water puddles

      Last but not the least..

P.S. In a months time the flat, thinner footpegs were replaced by the other when several complaints for them cracking came up...one customer kicked the bike with the footpeg down and broke it
Can you provide some images of the footpeg? I got Zappers, but I am not sure about the footpegs.

stock was a eurogrip or MRF ?? this increase in width seems so negligible!
how much did you get that one for ?? (please say you borrowed it from a friend's RTR...)

Mine were Eurogrips... and anythng above 110 wont fit in the swing arm without any alteration that is..

oh well, my friend wanted zappers (just had completed about 4K kms).
so i thought of giving it a shot. And whoa! it did work good for me....

well the TVS tyre shoudn't cost anything above Rs. 2k
Coz the zapper my frnd purchased costed him Rs. 2200(110/90) Pulsar 180 variant.

Dude...TVS tire is OKAY for dry tarmac but when you are on wet condition..
                      damn!!...it sucks.
Experts can say more about it. Please check out the RTR 180 and fi thread for more details...they have experienced a lot about the ugly part of this TVS tires.

                      Next time try:
                      r15 Rear :100/80 - 17 Zapper S TL
                      or Zapper Q REAR...100/90/18 (Rs. 1550/-)
If you can fit any of them.
Nice Ride by the way. P135 is damn sexy (without the rear hugger).

                          thnx for the info man..
well i asked for the rear r15 tyre, they say the tyre fits well only on r15 rims.. din't go into details, I'll check it out today..

And yeah grip sucks bad on wet surfaces.. Since i got the rubber for free, i'll surely go for Zappers next time.
odo 7k kms. will change after 10k.
