HP is available in the range of 500-700bucks...its totally different from K&N and have a thorough check if they are providing you with a car's or bike's filter...
HP=High Pass filters are china based and provide only wire mesh...meaning more of dust and stuff..HP doesnt come with a filter cleaner like the K&N Recharger Kit..
and do you have any idea about re-jetting,up-jetting and maintaining the balance-ratio ??
all this depends on what you want...and what are you doin it for ?...what all i said was for increasing the performance and K&N is recommended...HP can only change the fine tune of your bike...
My personal opinion...do it only if you have adequate information/knowlegde about it...else stick to the stock filter...
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

Are they available at the shop readily or should they be made?? Anyways the paint has a more original effect than the stickers (according to me). Actually the paint is a lot cheaper than the stickers.Originally posted by nin View Postwhy paint ? now stickers are available...radium ones...easy to put on...stay on longer and cheaper...NOT BEEN THERE NOT DONE THAT

Tire change - dry / wet weather update
After my switch to the MRF & Pirelli combo, I should say that the handling has turned out to be near perfect. Earlier, under heavy & sudden braking, the rear used to ever so slightly slide out which sometimes was a concern; this accentuated in wet weather. But, after the switch, the bike stops in a perfect straight line & in the intended direction. Period.
The grip & the ride comfort offered are of a very high order indeed. For the last week, I was able to spend ample time riding it in damp, semi-wet & fully wet (read torrential rain!) conditions & I found the grip & performance to be pretty satisfactory.
Something unusual that I noticed: I normally tank-up every time I hit the reserve (12 lit); after the last tank-up is when I changed the tires. The fuel indicator would normally climb down to half when I hit around 500+ (I usually hit 720 - 760 km, reserve to reserve - 12 lit); but this time, it did so only when I crossed 650 km!
Will post the final FE after I hit the reserve!Live life, a quarter-mile at a time!

Hi raja_ghuru,
What was the tyre combination before change?? I believe P135LS comes with MRF zappers both front/rear.. did you change the rear to Pirelli? how much did that cost you?Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

The imported silica based tyres (pirelli, michelin etc.) have a lower rolling friction than Made in India Nylon based tyres and hence higher FE. Other benefits of Silicon based tyres is that they last longer than Nylon based tyres.Originally posted by raja_ghuru View PostAfter my switch to the MRF & Pirelli combo, I should say that the handling has turned out to be near perfect. there's no particular shop back here which can do that...i mean only for stickers...we all can understand why so....these stickers are quite cheap and providing them through other means would eventually increase the final cost...Originally posted by subrata View Post+1111 yes Nin you are right
