That's a very long trip you got there!!.. I have done around 350kms in a day with breaks in between.. do you have clear information on how the roads are and what's the weather like during that time?? not to discourage you but the distance of 800kms says you need atleast 2 days to finish that trip.. that if you can manage with least number of breaks!!..Originally posted by anandkrishnan View PostLet's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

Hey did any of you guys experienced a stiff gear shifting. The clutch is not returning back fully after releasing as well. So I told it to a person I know who also happens to be the owner of one of the biggest service centers around. His practical knowledge is very good and also very much down to earth
. (the praising is done as a thank
)
He fixed it by just adjusting the clutch...by the screw near the handle....
(may be helpful to some
)

1stly..very much doable on this bike too...but i cant tell you about the road conditions there...Originally posted by anandkrishnan View Posthey friends iam getting an cocky idea i want to tour a 800km trip on p135ls with no breaks in between
i guess that was too cocky may be with least breaks
has anyone tried this
or ah................. even longer trip.
let me know your experience and tell me how i should get prepared for this coz
this is my first.
2ndly why do you want to hurry so much ?? planning for a saddlesore later on ?? if its a practice for that...go on...else i would recommend do that in 2 or more days...would be more fun...

its showing gr8 performance and sound is so sexy!A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels,scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

Guys, managed a top whack of 114 Km/h today, the max it was going to 9000 RPM and refusing to go beyond that.
After this speed run i noticed smoke from the exhaust when I halted the vehicle, it was foul smelling......
Is any thing wrong with the bike?
But on the +ve side the engine became a little smoother or I felt it to so.....

Cool.. post it man.. but I believe K&N filters are only for powerful bikes like Karizma & P220.. isn't it?? Also, I heard that now a days bikes come with a standard mechanism that restricts air-flow to a certain level.. so does it (I mean fitting K&N filter) make any real difference to the bike?? Anyways.. did you do it on your own??Originally posted by pulsAr135 View PostGuys... at last i installed power filter on my bike...will post a video soon...

smoke and foul smell ?!?! did you notice any rat get into your engine ??Originally posted by suhail View PostGuys, managed a top whack of 114 Km/h today, the max it was going to 9000 RPM and refusing to go beyond that.

jokes apart...i myself have done about 131kmph at 10.5-11k without any problems with ease(no vibes..no feel of falling short of breath)...and that too within the run in period(despite knowing its not good for the engine in the long run)...
can you tell me whats your odo reading(kms your bike has run) and when all servicing was done? more importantly if the filter,carb was cleaned properly...
also mention which fuel do you use...
nope..ive dont it on a yamaha rx135 and even a rx 100...Originally posted by vrugonnab View Postbut I believe K&N filters are only for powerful bikes like Karizma & P220.. isn't it??
not much...until serious upjetting/re-jetting is done(not recommended until your not into performance racing or getting out the juice from your bike)Also, I heard that now a days bikes come with a standard mechanism that restricts air-flow to a certain level.. so does it (I mean fitting K&N filter) make any real difference to the bike??A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels,scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

,
I thought our bikes had a rev limiter which kicks in at 10.5k.............
ODO-7700 KM
Last servicing was done at 5k km, oil changed at 6k km, dont know about the carb but filter seems to be clean.
and I use the regular unleaded fuel mostly from BPCL bunks.......

you are right i was planning for a saddlesore
but to my badluck my parents said no to this trip they said "u are not ready for this try all ur adventures when ur little more older" but it is not wrong on their part too, because all parents tend to be more conservative about their children and my parents are not an exception. but i have planned to do this with out their knowledge may be some day later.
