Depends on how long is long for you?? anyways... foot pegs are slightly rear set.. you need to adjust yourself and find a comfortable position on this bike.. It's advisable to take a break after 1 hour or so to avoid any pains if you are experiencing any. If you sit back a bit on the seat instead of hugging the tank.. then you might feel little more comfortable.Originally posted by Krish007 View PostIs there any back pain which you guys are facing? after riding this bike for a long time?Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

Guys! I read here that you people wish to use Mobil 1 20W50 !
PLEASE DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR BIKE EVER ! It is a Car engine oil which will lead to clutch slippage and eventually damage the clutch assembly of your bike. PLEASE NEVER USE CAR ENGINE OILS ON YOUR BIKE!
All Made In India bikes use "wet multiplate clutch" which is 'wet' because it is 'cooled' using the engine oil. If you use Car Engine oils like Shell Helix, Mobil 1, Castrol GTX etc, which have friction busters ( so that the car gives better mileage) will in effect reduce the effectiveness of the clutch and cause it to slip. The reason being, the wet clutch assembly is only 'cooled' using the engine oil.. not 'lubricated' using it. Such a problem will never happen in a car due to the same oils as the clutch used there is 'dry'
If you guys need any info on what engine oils you can use on the P135, there is a link in my signature, as the oil grade for both is 20w50, there shouldn't be any problem.
@Nin Regarding the ABS thingie, not everybody is a Rossi.. Some people take time to learn to get used to the increased braking capability of a Pulsar. Its better to be safe than sorry. I once got a complement from the service engineer at PBK Nasik that mine was the best braking P220 he had ever ridden.
@Akshay5591 If your bike has the O-Ring (open) chain.. when was the last time your chain was lubed?
@All worried about back pains.. go to this link
Bike India August 2009
and go directly to page 34-35 and try to implement whatever is written there. I did a 400+ km ride the day I read it for the first time
and it was back-pain free. That particular ride also happened to be my longest ride till that date. (I have done much longer ones since then)
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

That's very low for P135LS... me too in bangalore..getting 55+ consistently. There could be problem with carb tuning (i mean air fuel mixture could have been set to very rich).. better to get it checked at service centre... by the way are you sure that you got correct amount of petrol!! in Bangalore it's so common to get ripped off at petrol pumps.. happened to me once.. going to Shell ever sinceOriginally posted by akshay5591 View Posthey ppl..im getting very horrible mileage

Yep, you are absolutely right about it and I was the one who recomended Mobil 20W50 for someones'(Lightsportz's) bike. Just for your information, it is NOT Mobil1 20W50, it is Mobil 20W50 super 4T which is made specially for four stroke bike engines, it has JASOMA and also API SG certification as well.Originally posted by antz.bin View PostGuys! It is indeed a very good mineral oil(Not a Fully Syn as Mobil1), properties are much similer to Motul3000 20W50 mineral oil and it works well with the wet clutches and hence improves gear box perfomances. It is even better than Castrol 20W50 too.
Why I recomended is that, in here, Sri Lanka, one cannot find a good 20W50 oil other than a brand called Caltex, and it is really a bad oil! Castrol is available in GTX which is a petrol engine oil. So the options
are Motul and Mobil(not Mobil1) and Motul is very very hard to find. That is why I recomended Mobil. And I recomended this to a person also from Sri Lanka, his user name is "Lightsportz". His P135 poured with Caltex20W40 that is why I recomended Mobil. Check my older posts please!
I think that Mobil 20W50 super 4T is not available in India, but it is readily available in Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan...etc and also in almost all european countries and Austalia & NZ as well. It is also from the same company which Mobil1 produce(ExxonMobil) and it is directly imported to Sri Lnka from Singapore by a well reputed company in Sri Lanka!
I think that I cleared your doubt! I honestly don't recomend anything to anyone if I'm not sure and don't have a sufficient knowledge about it!
Anyway, I really appreciate your awareness
Some features of Mobil 20W50 Super 4T as below:-
"Mobil Super 4T 10W-40, 15W-40, 15W-50, 20W-50 combine highly refined, quality mineral oils and an advanced additive system to provide good engine cleanliness, good wear protection and corrosion protection. Key features and benefits include:
Features Advantages and Potential Benefits
Good wear protection--- Extends engine life
Thermal and oxidation stability--- Keeps engines clean for smoother operation
Good corrosion protection--- Protects critical engine components
Broad viscosity range--- Year round engine protection and performance
Applications
Mobil Super 4T 10W-40, 15W-40, 15W-50, 20W-50 are recommended for lubrication of all four-stroke motorcycle engines where an API SG and JASO MA level performance is recommended.

Well, you don't need to buy Mobil at all(Mobil Super 4T) coz you can find similler good oil like Motul easily. So go for Motul anytime with your eyes closed!

What's the need? current set up is more than adequate.. this "self cancelling indicators" feature was first introduced on P200.. later on it was extended to P180.. may be P150 (not sure). But it requires some getting used to..Originally posted by pulsAr135 View PostWhy doesn't Bajaj give us 'SELF CANCELLING TURN SIGNALS' (I don't know the exact name).
Is there anyway to apply it in our baby Pulsar???Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

You can mention that it also lacks the Side Stand Light as well as a second trip meter. But the self-canceling turn indicator is not much useful in my opinion.Originally posted by pulsAr135 View PostWhy doesn't Bajaj give us 'SELF CANCELLING TURN SIGNALS' (I don't know the exact name).
