A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

      • by the guys...i just got my 2nd service done...

and now the bike is as smooth as butter...

a point to make...the issue of squeaking noise from the rear shocks has been eliminated...the svc guys added a bush to them now...which wasnt done with the 1st model of the p135ls back then...rim paint that has come off will be done again...all under warranty...

Yeah. My bike's shocks were squeaky too. The Svc centre added the bush, but charged for the bolts that hold the shocks to the swingarm (saying that they had to heat it to remove it).

          • My experience thus far!

Has been an eventful 6 months with this bike. Have never regretted the decision to have sold my trusty old Apache 150 to pick this one - is up to the task of a light sporty city bike.

Have changed the tires to tubeless ones - MRF Zapper 80/100 front (a la R15) and a Pirelli MT75 100/80 for the rear. The bike is now a more taut handler.

Usual niggles are present (as concurred with earlier posts in the forum) - resonance at rpm range of 5800 to 6200, right foot-peg vibes at 8500 rpm thereabouts, slightly hard seats, slight paint peel from the powder-coated alloys et al, but is offset by the sheer pleasure of riding exuberance it offers.

Don't you notice that slight speed increase in a given RPM, after the tyre change, specially the rear tyre being changed to Pirrelli? Well I notice it with another P135, there it has the same tyre, Pirrelli MT75 100/80 and I could see that P135 doing 50kmph at exactly 4k(where at 4k the speed is normally 48kmph)! And tyres filled with Nitrogen gas as well!

oh okay ! they had added 10bucks for some bolts in the final bill...when enquired they themselves wondered and then cut it off saying it must be a mistake...IDIOTS !

i still havent figured out what can be done about the resonant frequency....the alloy paint comes under warranty and they repaint it with a spray....

well u could probably do 130-140 at 10.5-11 rpms easily thn ...

Well, it was not my P135, someone else's, I took a ride, and felt that tyres were much better in grip and gave a very light feeling as well. Tyres were in high quality, he imported those tyres directly from Italy too, that is why I wanted to get a ride just to check the tyres.
It surely did seem to increase the top end, given the correct pressure and filled with pure Nitrogen gas. But I doubt that those tyres might increase the top speed up to 130-140 as you said! But those tyres might increase mileage but no details from the owner about the mileage(coz he doesn't care about the mileage)
Anyway P135 is capable of producing higher speeds for its category, isn't it? I went up to 125kmph once but never again eventhough I tried

About resonance, I am trying to find ways to mount the engine with rubber mountings to the frame to eliminate the resonance vibrations as it is very irritating some times. But after switching to Motul SS, the resonance vibrations are eliminated to some extent. I think you should try that out too, but only after 8k odo reading, you know why!

                  • Hello friends,

My brother is going to buy P135 at this Diwali. How's the reliability of the bike and what should be the mileage with 40-50kmph average speed. Is there any concerns regarding some major issues which are there with every 135. If yes, Have they been sorted out?

                    Thanks.

Good choice, I must say. This bike performs very well for it's category.
No reliability issues as of now, engine feels the same, infact better, after 8.5k kms so far, no rusting, no shaking parts, feels made to last, nothing replaced yet! Happy till now.
No major issues, but seats and suspensions are a bit hard so not that comfortable for long tours(but I do a lot of touring with this bike, I used to it now)
What, does your brother think to ride this bike with 40-50kmph ave. speed, you must be kidding me, there is no way you can keep this bike as low speeds as that. In higher speeds this bike goes in to another level and you totaly will obsessed with that!
Hmmm... around 40-50kmph, your brother will get 65+ mileage for sure.. MIne with a lot of 70-80kmph riding gives me around 60kmpl

It's an awesome bike to start with.. performance is right in the league of 150 cc bikes.. 40-50kmph avg speed should certainly return handsome mileage.. I get 55-60 kmpl.. mostly I keep it above 65kmph.. that's where the fun is with this bike. Completed 7k kms till now.. no problems what so ever... no replacements.. no rattles.. just the sweet humming above 6k rpm.. i'm loving it.

wow!! is what I could say about your review guys. Thanks for clearing the points.

@dan: Well 40-50kmph... He only uses his bike for commuting from office to home and is a sane rider so, the speeds are abnormal in xbhpians sense. & anything above 60kmpl is a warm welcome.

@vrugonnab: Thanks. My bro owns currently a P150 UG3 and is very biased towards P135, now a person shifting from a bigger Pulsar to lower looks tobe awkward. I am sure he will like the bike.

Even how sane rider your brother is, he could not stick to lower speeds in this bike. Yep, it definitely will give around 65kmpl if maintained in given speeds.
Yeah shifting to a lower bike is awkward, but from a P150 UG3 to a P135, no, not at all, he will feel he shifted to a better not bigger bike. Yeah he will like it, like all of us here!
