Re: Pulsar 135 LS
That is why I cancelled both P135 after booking and rejected the idea of getting a P200NS, Bajaj sucks at making decisions. May I know what color P135 do you have and what color is written on RC? I'm thinking about ordering a new panel kit and fitting on a red black bike.Originally posted by sp33dfr33k View PostI am back!

Re: Pulsar 135 LS
Bajaj doesn't necessarily suck at making decisions but they have a "novel" approach to marketing. My baby is Passion Red dude. It just says RED on the RC Book.Originally posted by Cleaner View PostThat is why I cancelled both P135 after booking and rejected the idea of getting a P200NS, Bajaj sucks at making decisions. OT: Have you seen the GP editions of the Pulsar stallions that Bajaj is currently marketing overseas???

Re: Pulsar 135 LS
Yes it seems that oil is leaking from head cover.Originally posted by Someassar Kumar View PostYes yes. I'll post the pics. My phone has gone for service :P. It oozes out from head cover. I see thats quite common for pulsars. I changed the gasket head cover. The leak looks something like this. The picture is for reference only.

What is the condition of all bolts on cover?
Open and inspect again, don't replace gasket again. After opening wipe out the oil where gasket seats using a clean cloth.
Carefully inspect everything.
If all good then fix it back properly.
Can't say much, never experienced such thing, it might be with bolts.

Re: Pulsar 135 LS
Everything was good when i opened the cover. I will give it a try one more time. And do they use sealant paste when installing head cover ? does anyone know about that here?Originally posted by Lokesh027 View PostYes it seems that oil is leaking from head cover.

Re: Pulsar 135 LS
It's a rubber gasket, so sealant is not used generally. But to control the leakage it can be applied if nothing works.Originally posted by Someassar Kumar View PostEverything was good when i opened the cover. I will give it a try one more time. Re: Pulsar 135 LS
IMO overfilling shouldn't cause leakage from the bolts/head (unless not tightened properly). In my bike (and I presume all) the excess blow-by oil is seen in the air filter box.Originally posted by Cleaner View PostHave you overfilled engine oil?Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Re: Pulsar 135 LS
Yeah, you get the excess oil out through the crankcase ventilation but in case of overfilling, oil tends to seep through the gaskets, especially since P135LS uses dry cut cork gasket instead of molded silicone gasket in the head cover.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostIMO overfilling shouldn't cause leakage from the bolts/head (unless not tightened properly). Re: Pulsar 135 LS
The engine oil was changed to Motul fully synthetic 3000kms before. The leak was worse with old gasket. After replacing it has been reduced by 80%. But a slight amount of leak is still persistent after riding for about 10-20kms.Originally posted by Cleaner View PostHave you overfilled engine oil?
