Let me know what you learn please as i am also thinking of changing my settings too...
i ve asked a local mechanic-shock absorber conditioning expert
he said that he alter the gas pressure level to make it softer or harder, that's the only thing we can do in gas shocks,
he suggest to use shock absorbers of STAR CITY V2, which will fit exactly in pulsars. since it is an oil shock absorber it provide soft and smooth drive.

I got something to ask you people. There is a two set of bends on bar near the chain (I don't know how to call it). One set of (both side)bend on near rear tyre connection with the iron bar(i think thats swingarm) and another set of bend near the rider foot rest. I asked about this dealer where I bought but he said its a design and he showed the another p135 with the bends but there was only one p135 so please clarify me whether it's normal or anything wrong.

Help!

Thanks.

its ok brother, the bend that you have witnessed are normal with our 135 ls, even when i looked at them on day 10 i was amazed to see those bends but at the same time i clarified with the fellow p135ls owner at my office who also got the open o ring chain p135ls like us, that day i came to know about this, so be calm its normal with all of our pulsar 135ls.

No, sir. There was no intention of low baling. I'd have bought the bike only at 20k as I'm in great shortage of money. Anyway if you find P135LS under 30k please inform me, I need one.

so i did lodge a complaint for my starting problems and the svc guys had to look into the matter and it got solved .

since i'm a new learner , i made my bike fall once to the left side , from that time , if i leave the handle bar whle riding the bike kinda goes to the left automatically .
for this i showed to svc guys and they told the'll repair it , etc . after the repair (cost 1400) , the problem went worse and now they are telling you are not supposed to ride the bike leaving the handle and i'm like its not about leaving the handle its safety concern , the bike should be straight . I'll ask the manager for the same but what should i tell him to convince the same ??

so after 800kms , mileage has increased from 30kmpl to 40kmpl , still this is not good .
and yep the performance is poor , it lugs a lot in 1st and 2nd gear .

Hi All,

I experience a problem with my plusar 135 as it automatically rises the acceleration after i start the bike...had to turn it off and on again to go back normal....any one experienced this? what should i do now! SVC!

Thanks.

What you are experiencing is perfectly normal. It happens mostly during cold weather when you start the bike, the RPM (which you are confusing to acceleration) goes to 4K for a good 20-30 seconds and comes back to the normal 1.1 K RPM again. It is the auto-choke of Pulsar 135 that comes into play.

But if it continues for longer durations than that, then you must get it checked at the SVC.
On my bike till kingdom comes..

I would say of course you should go for it...but you should decide it yourself after having a test ride...

I have been riding my P135 for the last 2.5 years and i have never felt any regret about selecting this bike.

Yes it may be true that Bajaj bikes may not have reliability but it's for people who don't take care of their ride and take it for granted.
However i would like to add that Bajaj bikes do tend to need more care than the others sometime and Bajaj has been really addressing this issues since last year. So it was never a problem for me.

I am completely satisfied with my choice and i hope you will also be after you had experienced this bike.

trsakhilk: I totally agree wid you dude. i have been riding my baby since March '11, done 51000 KM so far. Bajaj bikes need a lot of TLC. But the upside of that is that the bike will always put a smile on our face be it overtaking a poser, or just puttering around at 25-30kmph in traffic while in top gear while the guys around us go bonkers mad shifting gears up. down and sideways just so their bikes don't choke . Not to forget the elusive decent fuel efficiency (58 kmpl OTR) inspires you to rip the bike to a nice 90+ on empty stretches, albeit for short bursts.

Widout the god awful black stickering??? Dude, my guess is to go hunting in used bikes showrooms. Bajaj has the knack of treating us to a sumptuous feast and then proceeding to happily sucker punch us in the gut....case in point the NEW decals for the 200 NS.
