      • Got My 5th servicing done a while ago. Changed almost everything as required. Have put the Shell advanced 15w50, fully synthetic. & I must say, it's really working gud .
Though my previous oil, Wruth 20w40 semi synthetic, did improve my bike's performance & mileage, but did make it a bit rough at the later stages before I'd get it changed. But the present one is also doing a great job. Shifts r smoother, vibes are less, of coarse after thorough setting/tuning of certain stuffs, & the mileage lingers around 60kmpl.
Happy as I am with it's performance, still lacks a bit of that punch I'd experienced with my previous oil. I'll fill in more as I climb up the distance with it.
But might not last long, cuz I plan to upgrade to the Duke 200 (mostly) my next year.
But it was my 1st bike & I am more than just pleased .
A piece of advice on the oil part, do try the Wruth ( semi or fully synthetic) oil. It's response is really remarkable which no one will fail to notice.

Well, been riding it for almost 2 yrs now. Vibes that couldn't be eliminated completely, but definitely was taken care of which don't really poise any significant harm. I'm sure everyone here have done similar stuff & r happy with the results. I did long rides ranging to a max of 320km on mine. Did a 130kmph too if that doesn't prove enough. City rides don't bring any trouble becuz of it's beautiful maneuvering ability. Pick up, mileage, comfort is decent enough to make u smile.
Of coarse I've taken care of it & nurtured it well, we all bike lovers do, so like I'd stated, for my 1st bike, I was more than just pleased with it. So except the vibes, there aren't many other issues with the engine that can significantly harm, & nothing that can't be taken care of. So if ur mind is set on buying it, u might as well go for it. Proper care & stuff, & the bike will not let u down.

Plus there is the overheating. I think the oil needs to be changed. At the first service, the Service Centre guys sort of forced me to put Bajaj DTSI 10000 in the bike. Told me otherwise the warranty would be lapsed. Which oil do you think I should go for??
Just a month ago i have brought my P135. I'm also facing same issue like you, its sound is initially good but when cross 50 kmph, the sound gets a lot rough. Still I haven't completed my first free service. Some other problems that I'm facing are:

                      1. It not get neutral easily most of the time.
                      2. False Neutral problem.
                      3. Rear suspension is very hard.

Can any one please help me to resolve this issues.

First of all, congrats for your new bike, and welcome to the P135 community.
Bro your baby is just 1 month old. You need to let her learn to walk first. Let her grow some bones. You should not cross 50 kmph at least for another month. I know it is a bit tough on the self-control part, but if you want a long-term relationship with this baby, you got to keep your adrenaline under control. Ok??

And about the roughness of the engine, my problem was solved when i used the Motul 20W50 at 5,000 kms. Now my engine is running pretty smooth.

Never faced the false neutral problem though. But i am guessing you are talking about shifting to neutral position from the 2nd or 1st gear. Most people have the same problem, including me. But after a little practice, you will be able to do that easily. Here's what i did, for shifting to neutral, i switched off the engine, went straight down to 1st gear, and shifted up half-a-click. Always did the trick..

And yes, the rear suspension is on the tougher side, by default as Bajaj wanted it to be a sort of sports bike. And the tough suspension seems to assist in better handling of the bike. You will get used to this, but highly uncomfortable for the pillion. If you do have problems, go to the SVC guys, and ask them to loosen the suspension a bit.

Many thanks for your valuable comments.

I will maintain the speed till my 2nd free service, I will not cross 50KMPH speed.

As i have't completed my all free services, so i have to use Bajaj own engine oil otherwise the warranty will be void. When i will completed my all free services i will use Motul 20W50 as suggested by you.

I am already doing the same trick as you mention. But its not good for the engine to switched off the engine when its in 1st or 2nd gear.

Yes i will ask them to loosen the suspension a bit

                          • Even I am having the same red-black p135 as my first bike ... I have learnt how to ride also on this baby .... just had the first servicing done around 400km ... I am not much aware but I can say two things .... the transition between 1st-N-2nd is not very regular, and somehow I get a bit of vibration in the 4000-5500 rpm range, above that its again ok on 5th ... is this an initial phase thing that can be sorted later ?
