      • O ring chains are pre-lubricated, needs very less maintenance and last longer, you can check it by splashing through mud water, you will immediately notice, even after splash, the chain doesn't get mud stains. It is same one on P220.

Generally, if ridden well, it lasts 2.5-3 times more than normal chains.

power to weight ratio is one of the best in the industry, due to this, it is an excellent handling bike, making it efforless to steer through traffic coz it's light as a feather It is truly a traffic cutter

I almost always have false neutral on mine when going from 1st to 2nd, but not the other way. And it's very difficult to find the neutral when you really want it. I never had both the problems in my 180.

Keep the rev below 6K RPM and you can expect ~50kmpl.
Take it above 6K RPM, you could get as little as 35kmpl.

You are going to have a sore behind after about 70km on the default seats because it is very narrow compared to a 150. You might want to have the seats customized with a lot of additional cusioning.

There is a known problem of the oil filter seepage until the 1st service, so you are going to see some ugly lines of oil dripping from the oil filter. I'm not sure if this has been resolved in the new version.

I faced the same problem, sometimes it slips, sometimes it is going fine to neutral. However, I found a workaround.

While on first gear, press the engine kill switch. It will stop the engine. Press the clutch and shift. It will always go to neutral. Press the engine back again. This works every time I tried.

and papers still come in a bunch of papers or some smart card sort of thing???
Now it is a smart card. You can open the left hand side box with your key, toolkit will be there. There is a cable to pull which will open the rear seat. You can put the documents and first aid kit there. There is nice illustration on this on the bike manual. Please read it thoroughly. I think even discover 100 and 150 works in the same way.

              Happy Biking. Ride Safe.

P.S. Just got a studds Ninja helmet, my old one is now replaced. Next time all pics with bike & helmet on.

              • Hey Bikers,

I am pretty new to this motorcylce blogging and I need help real fast . I fell in love with 135LS indonesian version and now its in India; so I went and paid an advance of 1000 bucks to book it. But I saw the musculine P180 in the showroom and from that moment, I am online going through reviews about both the bikes and seriously I cant decide. I dont have an issue with mileage and the extra cost of 180. But I test drove both the bikes and I felt 180 has a god damn grip on the road, 135ls is not bad but is so light like my old yamaha. I am confused, which one to choose.
                What I LIKED:
                P180:
Tubeless tyres, Real split hand grips, overall rugged feel of the bike
                P135:
Sporty look, 122K feather weight, Mileage, Unique from the so common p150/180.
                My priorities:
                1. Handling should be easy ( when you are in a theatre and try to park 180 is tough ?)
                2. Cut through the city traffic ( like how I do in my RX)
                3. Good suspension. (sold my rx just because of this reason)

Dealer is waiting on my word; P180 or P135 ?

                  • i vote 4 pulsar 135ls....as i own it for few months it gives me better mileage and pickup(just0.3 sec slower than p180 as per reviews)........handling is good......sleek design so easy to move on through traffic and parking.......you could get more mileage if u fill nitrogen in tires, i got an increased mileage of around 7kms and also i changed the normal spark plugs to "NGK G-POWER PLATINUM"........now an overall mileage near 80kms.....as i ride in b/w 45-55kms range..........bt friend u cant get good suspension in any of the pulsar as per my knowledge....its too hard....also seats are very tough.....except this all other features are good..

                        My vote P180.

                        Why?

Because i own it. I have crossed 2000 kms with this bike and the bike feels great !

P180 (except for yahama fz and fazer family) has the best road grip. The bike feels big ! I am 6 feet and 80 kgs and initially opted for dazzler. Took a test drive. The bike was damn smooth. But my GF said the bike looked very small for me( No dazzler owner can deny this !). But i took a second chance .. I took my friends to honda showroom @ adayar. They also said the same. After googling a lot i settled for P150. When i went to showroom @ chromepet, i glanced P180 and tried it and it was the first time i felt like i was riding a real BIKE ! Apart from false neutrals, the bike was great ! I fell for its grunt sound . I checked mileage in reserve to reserve basis, 3 times and it was 49,50,49. So please dont listen to any anti-pulsar guyz. If yo maintain P180 well, you will have a lot of fun !

If yo want smooth engine go for dazzler. If you want a beast go for Pulsar 180. Please dont opt for 135LS.. i got an opportunity to drive my friend's p135 and the bike was so light! And its build quality was not as good as p180. So if you are opting for pulsar get none other than P180 UG4 ( tried and tested)

                        • Just returned from a 58km ride in stretch on my beast. The seats are stiff, I think I will need a break every 60kms for a long ride.

BTW my tip meter is not resetting by pressing the reset button. Is there any special instructions for resetting the Trip meter? I found none in my manual. Or it is just a faulty trip meter reset button? Anyone have any idea?
