If you keep it between 4K-6K RMP i.e - upto 50-70km/h, then you get about 50-55km per litre(depends on how you use your brakes as well). If you keep revving it all the time and repeatedly keep touching 100-110, then you can expect about 35km/l

I get about 40 on an average.

You said you need to get your bike back from servicing "after 3 days".. and get back to me.
    I am still waiting dude..
Some of us have something called 'work' and don't have time to keep trolling on forums all day unlike lot of people.

I thought of PM'ing you the details till the point you started threatening me for personal details. I have forwarded that PM to the admins and have asked them to look into it. You should have a reply to that from them soon.

Maybe if you take some more time reading what I typed several threads before than repeating the same questions, it will help us all and stop wasting everone's time.

Lol.. Like I said, some of us have something called 'work'

BTW, for other's who have been following this, after I got a new bolt put in for the silencer/engine gasket, apparently the service center went back on the word of it being covered under warranty and tried charging me for the repair work for removing the bolt from the engine casing under the pretext that they had to outsource that work to an outside service vendor. Only after I got the MD of the dealer to interfere is when the accepted that the charge is invalid as it's covered under warranty.

Well, whatever they did with opening up the engine casing and putting it back together seems to have fixed a slight issues of vibration in the range of 7.5-8k rpm although my 135 reaches resonance frequency at 5.9-6.2k RMP(this is where every part of the bike vibrates in synch which is really irritating), all other RPM ranges are free of vibration.

If you have any problem with your bike, just let me know. As I told you, if your case is genuine then I can get help for you.

That's the way it has been with me since 2005. xBhp is a habit hard to break. Work or no work.

I have. Even with all the "work pressure", its not too difficult browsing through the 14 odd posts that you have made so far.

So, you might ask why did I bother buying so many bajaj bikes? the answer to that is there in my previous post.
Point taken but there are ways to do so. Even in my previous posts (you know which ones ) what I was trying to say is that every manufacturer has their share of issues. One needs to escalate this properly. No one on this forum has anything against you personally. If you read through your posts on the other threads, many of them have come out with suggestions to help you.

Good to know that your problems have been resolved. Regarding the resonance, almost all bikes seem to have a point where this happens. It happens between 5.5K and 6K on my R15.

              • ^^^ First, please use "edit" feature and add your points instead of quick successive posts. Thanks

Now, easier question first. Every bike has some space either in side panels or under the seat specifically made for this purpose. You can defanitely keep all your papers in there. Now a days at many places you get the RC & License as Cards. Even otherwise, the key documents you need to keep in the bike are RC, License, Insurance and PUC Certificate. They are not a lot.

Mileage of the bike falls after services because we start riding them at higher speeds and start pushing the engines for higher RPM's after the run-in period. This is what generally happens. In some cases there would be premature wear / damage to certain critical parts that causes drop in mileage. Fuel economy is something that depends on a whole lot of parameters and no one can pin point to certain numbers for a particular scenario. Also, there is a lot of difference between how we think we ride and how we actually ride.

ahem, a 4 valve engine. You sure did not study your Physics text book in school. Let me try... An engine needs fuel + air for combustion to happen. Post combustion the gases need to go out of the engine chamber. But when the engine is in the cumbustion process the engine must be completely closed. So, something called a valve is used that opens a small door into the engine chamber exactly when needed. The one thar sends in the fuel + air mixture is inlet valve. The one that opens a door to send out the combustion gases is exhause valve. Now, that is a count of two. An engine neede a minimum of one inlet + one outlet or exhaust valve = two valve engine.

Now, to make the engine inhale and exhale better, they add two inlet and two exhaust valves. To tell you easily, you can sure walk with your nose closed. Try running with that and see how you gasp. Or, try running when you have flu. Your performance would be seriously limited. When your nose is free of clogs you perform better... I believe you can now relate this to the 4 valve engine.

I will definately if it's something really serious, but if it's something I can live with, I certainly don't have the time to give it away to any mech/servicecenter for several days at a stretch, I just won't be able to find the time between work and no transport. It's a quitessential part of my everyday life as I have no alternatives.

But you have to appreciate the fact that not everyone has that kind of time on their hands.

It was just a point to note, not an issue.

I always have a copy of all my documents under the rear seat. The rest like the RC Card and licence is always wid me in my pocket.

                      • guys i am planning to sell my p150 and get p135 , bike owners please post your experiences on the below things:

                        1) Bike handling , p150 is not a good handler and i have issues with its handling at present.

                        2) Gear shifts , are they smooth any false neutral issues, gear slipping .Are the gears smooth even after 1 year of usage.

                        3) Mileage , not a big issue for me but better to know, both high ways and city.

                        4) i am planning to use this for long rides 400+ kms , will the bike fair well in these circumstances .

                        5) mention any other issues like oil leaking, clutch wearouts.. etc etc.
on 4 wheels u feel the speed after a crash, 2 wheelers are much more advanced
