        • Hi All, I have few problems with my P135...
[1] I left my bike unused for about a week and now when i try to start it, it wouldnt start! I tried multiple times with kick first and then with self starter and it wouldnt start at all. Any idea how do i get to start?
[2] Oil is leaking from the front suspension! I am going to take it to SVC as soon as as i get it to start.
[3] Air leaks away from the rear tyre without any puncture!! Anyone facing this problem?
          Thanks

Well, this might sound silly.. but are you sure that engine kill switch is in correct position?? also is there petrol.. in case if the bike is in reserve did you change that to reserve position?? if you have already checked all of this, then it could be problem with electricals for sure.. I was back in town today after 5 days.. and my bike started on first kick!! It could well be problem with chain slackness?? remember, P150 UG3 used to have that problem.. they will simply refuse to start when everything is seemingly ok!!

You certainly need to visit SVC for these problems.. ask them to come to your place and pick up the bike.

I use my bike only in weekends. No problem starting with kick or self. Better check it with SVC

I forget to mention that was due to the loose fit of mirrors. They have been tightened and the vibes are gone. Also my right side panel below the seat was loose. I made them re-open it, set it and tightened the screw.

                    Hi Frens,

It has been 20 days that I got this baby , n i have completed 600+kms on it already, enogh to know all pros n cons.. Wel in a city like blore the imp thing which i wanted was good milegae and easy city-cruising, n this baby satisfies both these parameters.

I am getting close to 55+ mileage before 1st service and riding, comfort & handling is gr8 in blore traffic.

This weekend only i went from blore to Krishnagiri (via EC n Hosur) ,approx 120+km on one side. The road was preety good and had a chance to use the new Electronic city flyover from Silk board to EC(9.5kms), it was damm good. With 2 people each weighing about 75+kgs i was able to reach 105km/hr speed without any difficulty. There was absolutely no vibration or noise and since the road was good our avg speed was 65-70 through out the journey. I know its not allowed during initial running-in phase but coudnt control it yaar.
It was a real good exp and for all those ppl from blore, if you have/plaaning to purchase a new 2 wheeler, this EC flyover is a real good place to find the power ,speed n comfort of your bike. Trust me :-)

The bike has behaved pretty decently during these 600kms and I hope the performance will improve after the 1st service.

Also it has auto-choke which works pretty good, one of my frends has a CBZ extreme, which gives him tough time in a cold morning after a night-shower.But not the case with this baby.
However cold the weather is,no matter how much it rained, just push th button and the engine soars to life.

Now as far as the cons are concerned, thay are :
1.The faulty battery indicator that shows low battery even though the battery is new n good. :-(
2.At times even the Fule indicator shows Low fuel even though the tank is full.
3.The gear is very smooth once you get use to it, but sumtimes it stucks in mid-traffic.Not a big issue though.
4.False Neutral problm thats very common & old with Pulsar famuily still continues.

Even though these are really not big issues considering the +ve sides of this beauty. But then again Bajaj should pay attention to rectify the same in new models.

So in all apart from few minor short-comings this Pulsar is a Complete Package of Style,Comfort,Power n Mileage.

135cc bike, giving you syle more than 150cc, power equal to 150cc and milage much more than 150ccs(easliy 60+km/l),waht else can you demand ?

Ab Kya Bacche ki Jaan loge yaar???

But there is ABSOLUTELY no issues with STARTER. Sometimes at running in kick start fails, but self, NEVER.
                      same here..

No bro. The vibration seems to come from the mirrors only. It is fine now with no change.

Bro don't tell me you are already ripping the bike before first service

The low fuel indicator comes when fuel is in reserve OR when you are ripping the bike too hard.

Regarding False Neutral you can just use the engine kill switch in the 1st gear and then shift. It is definitely go to neutral.

                        • The best way to go to neutral is from second gear. If you use throttle blipping, it would be very easy to shift to neutral. Before shifting to neutral, just give little bit of throttle and then shift (do not shift while giving throttle, do it only after the throttle to zero). This works wonders.

@saug12, Running-in is very important for a new bike. You should take the bike to higher rpms in a phased manner. under 4k for the first 300 km, under 5k for the next 200 km, under 6k for the next 300 km, and then you can go to higher rpms. This, the engine sets in well and will be durable,

                            • small problem

I am done with my running in ( about 1300km done now ) and i tried taking my bike to higher speeds. What happened was that at a point of time, the engine just gave a small jerk, as if the fuel supply had been cut off for a tiny second. This has happened rarely, but it happens over 50kmph. It happens at max only once in a ride, ie. Happens the first time i go at higher speeds, but doesnt happen later on in the same ride at those speeds. What could be the reason?

i guess it usually happens whn thrs water vapour whch dries out after that...or evn in worse cases there is water seepage in the fuel tank...
