But, after coming home, I checked the castrol website and came to know that GTX series is for Petrol Cars. From the engine oil thread I got to know that car engine oil is not recommended for bikes and leads to slipping of our wet clutch. I was then cursing the mechanic in my mind for putting car engine oil in my bike.
But, today I found a shop having Motul engine oil and got one bottle of Motul 3000 4T Plus 15W50 Mineral Oil and poured it in my bike. It costed Rs 210/- and also I got one Rs. 20/- cash back coupon inside it. So, actually it costed Rs. 190/- to me. After pouring this oil, I could feel the engine to be very smooth at higher rpms. Earlier, above 60 kmph, there used to be vigorous vibrations in the foot pegs and the engine also seem to be un-smooth. But now, i am happy riding at 60-70 kmph with slight vibrations at foot pegs and smooth engine and soothing engine sound. Overall, I am very happy with this engine oil. I am planning to change to Motul 5100T 15W50 semi-synthetic engine oil as soon as my bike completes 2500 kms.
    good u pointed that out..
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

      Hey Bikers,

I am pretty new to this motorcylce blogging and I need help real fast . I fell in love with 135LS indonesian version and now its in India; so I went and paid an advance of 1000 bucks to book it. But I saw the musculine P180 in the showroom and from that moment, I am online going through reviews about both the bikes and seriously I cant decide. I dont have an issue with mileage and the extra cost of 180. But I test drove both the bikes and I felt 180 has a god damn grip on the road, 135ls is not bad but is so light like my old yamaha. I am confused, which one to choose.
      What I LIKED:
      P180:
Tubeless tyres, Real split hand grips, overall rugged feel of the bike
      P135:
Sporty look, 122K feather weight, Mileage, Unique from the so common p150/180.
      My priorities:
      1. Handling should be easy ( when you are in a theatre and try to park 180 is tough ?)
      2. Cut through the city traffic ( like how I do in my RX)
      3. Good suspension. (sold my rx just because of this reason)

Dealer is waiting on my word; P180 or P135 ?
      Love always pays back....................
      (In every way)

I would say go with P135, if you intend to do city driving.......
if the other way round the go for P180, because on highways I think it woulf fare better.

Yes!! I was preferring the blue one.

BTW the only thing I dislike is the Pulsar sticker. Every other Pulsar now got that shiny chiseled 3D sticker except our P135LS. Anyone have any idea how to obtain/fix such a sticker in our P135LS?

I forget to mention today I was experiencing a little vibe on my both footpegs & in right clip on while in 44-45kmph in the highway, was running between 3-4k rpms.

              Why?

Because i own it. I have crossed 2000 kms with this bike and the bike feels great !

P180 (except for yahama fz and fazer family) has the best road grip. The bike feels big ! I am 6 feet and 80 kgs and initially opted for dazzler. Took a test drive. The bike was damn smooth. But my GF said the bike looked very small for me( No dazzler owner can deny this !). But i took a second chance .. I took my friends to honda showroom @ adayar. They also said the same. After googling a lot i settled for P150. When i went to showroom @ chromepet, i glanced P180 and tried it and it was the first time i felt like i was riding a real BIKE ! Apart from false neutrals, the bike was great ! I fell for its grunt sound . I checked mileage in reserve to reserve basis, 3 times and it was 49,50,49. So please dont listen to any anti-pulsar guyz. If yo maintain P180 well, you will have a lot of fun !

If yo want smooth engine go for dazzler. If you want a beast go for Pulsar 180. Please dont opt for 135LS.. i got an opportunity to drive my friend's p135 and the bike was so light! And its build quality was not as good as p180. So if you are opting for pulsar get none other than P180 UG4 ( tried and tested)
              i second his opinion..

the "pulsar" 3d sticker is easily available...but not the "135LS" one...u'l have to get it customised frm someone...

n abt d vibes...i guess ur talkin abt the rider's footpegs...whch is quite unusual at such low cruising speed on d highway..

but every pillion who has rode behind me complains abt the vibrations in d footpegs(pillion's ofcoz)...but that is only in d 60-75kmph range...be it at ny rpm...

                • I mostly ride solo. Yes I was also surprised to see the vibes. I will check with SVC guys whether this is a issue with the oil or engine. Currently I am in running in and clocked around 250km. Brought the bike on last Saturday.

Can you tell the where I can find the pulsar sticker in Kolkata?

                      I was in 5th gear, 3-4k RPM, 44-45 kmph.

Seriously Man those normal stickers looks really cheap..these tiny winy things makes a major confusion..P180 looks like value for money....

                            • XBHP - This is such an addicting place, I have almost stopped being in orkut/fb. Most of the times, I am here reading about different bikes. So much of info here...a different world (I was online in Xbhp till midnight eventhough I had to be in work at 6 AM lol)

Guys. Its so embarrasing for me, that it takes so long for me to decide a bike. I need a bike which has pickup/weight like RX. And I shouldnt easily loose in the signals (very important). Suggest me a bike. I know Apache is a love for everyone here and lot of good things about it, but I am not much impressed with the looks compared to pulsar ( Is it justified ?).

@ Ninad Please try to avoid SMS/Orkut/FB lingo while posting here on xBHP. Be more careful from next time onwards or you will get a formal warning from the mods.

@both I have not reported these posts or the mods will get interested in this thread yet again.
