Strange that you find fault with current generation Bajaj gearboxs. Maybe you can throw light on what is the exact fault with the gearbox...Originally posted by Cyrus_the_virus View Post
No one is attacking you. Its just that your anguish and frustration is leading you to throw logic to the dustbin. BTW...who told you that everything on your LS135 is made by Bajaj?Originally posted by Cyrus_the_virus View PostLast edited by niranjanvaidya; 08-04-2010, 01:13 AM.Never argue with an idiot. Buddy, i never compared the 220's gearbox, please read what I've written.Originally posted by payeng View PostNow that's something I find hard to believe.. I felt that the gearshift quality of the P135LS was better than even the faultless gearbox of my P220 Fi.
What's up wid that?Originally posted by payeng View PostWhy don't you post the Photo of your bike with yourself in it as well.
How about false neutral? how about clunky when moving to 1st gear? how about an already engaged gear while the clutch is still open from a cold start move?Originally posted by niranjanvaidya View PostStrange that you find fault with current generation Bajaj gearboxs. bhaiyaOriginally posted by Cyrus_the_virus View PostI don't know why everyone is attacking me all of a sudden. For everyone's clarification, this is my 3rd Bajaj bike. First the original pulsar 150, then the 180Dtsi and now the 135, so if you think I'm just complaining because of anguish, please introspect your thoughts as I have every right to blast Bajaj on their shoddy quality. So, you might ask why did I bother buying so many bajaj bikes? the answer to that is there in my previous post.
No, the 135LS gearbox is no where near to perfect, it has the same problems or even worse than the original 150 had.
Just because other bike models has more problems than Bajaj, does that make Bajaj better? Two Bad's won't make a good. Especially, be careful when you are comparing actual manufactured product to parts sourced from other providers. Things like Alloy wheels, or suspension or spark plugs are not made by the company themselves, but outsourced from parts suppliers unlike main engine components and parts which directly point to the quality of the entire product.
100 out 100 cant be scored by manufactures. may be the fault with ur bike. i own dazzler and my brother own a pulsar 135 . to everyone surprise expect for the braking and engine sound pulsar135 beats dazzler. (though the engine sound is not bad its different from pulsar )its not trdurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr now it bur bur bur
1.pulsar 135 beats dazzler in race
2.mileage is awesome of 60-65kmpl against my dazzler's 50kmpl.
3.the bike never gets tired when u turn the throttle.
4.compared to dazller it is sligtly small not a gigantic look.
5.no vibrations till 75kmph . gear is smooth so far i have driven and havent encountered any struggles and false neutrals.
6.my brothers 135 is 3 months old and have no problems till now.
7.value for money as my brother got 135 for 58,xxx and i got dazzler for 73,300 including accessories .nearly a price difference of 15k
.
8.both bike ofcourse give sore in the butt
shocks are harder in both but it can be adjusted in service centres

I wasn't arguing with you buddy, as you can see, few people here like to think they know something better than the actual owner of the bike and you can see that in the last few posts (which have been cleaned up nowOriginally posted by payeng View PostCan't help it if he is more interested in picking up an argument
). All, I was saying is that, there are some quality issues with the bike as a some of the technology that is supposed to work flawless is a bit half cooked on the 135 although it is miles ahead compared to the local competition. I appreciate your input, but lets not get into the argument of which brand is any better than Bajaj now like others are doing here and stick to our original issue at hand
@raagavk, I completely agree with you about the bike and that is why I took the bike in the first place after a lot of research. I have left even apache RTR 180 eat my dust in acceleration.. hehehe.. However, like I was pointing out before, there are some quality issues here and there, I was just pointing that out when few fanboys started picking up arguments saying that other bikes aren't any better; only if they listened to the point that I was making which is that the 135ls has quality issues here and there like the initial batch of 220 which had issues with the front fork breaking.Originally posted by raagavak View Postbhaiya

So, like I was saying in my original post, I'm still waiting on confirmation from Bajaj as to why the fastners are breaking which the service center has confirmed is a common problem in the 135. It could either be a bad quality bolt or the excessive vibrations in the higher rpm range. More on that later.
@sunny, thanks for the cleanupLast edited by Cyrus_the_virus; 08-04-2010, 08:11 PM.

You said you need to get your bike back from servicing "after 3 days".. and get back to me.
I am still waiting dude..
You say that you had previously owned the Pulsar 150 (not happy), and then Pulsar 180 (still not happy). And then you still go ahead and buy the P135LS..??Originally posted by Cyrus_the_virus View PostI don't know why everyone is attacking me all of a sudden. Had a blast on last saturday with my bike
Me & my friend Gopal took a ride to Sivasamudram waterfalls (near bangalore) on last saturday. 320 kms of highway+city riding in a day.. and at the end.. we were wowed by this pulsar. What surprised me the most was it's cross-wind stability (being light weight @ 122kg) on highway. And the other point was it's ability to maintain good top speeds (85+ most of the time). Forgot to mention the highlight of the trip!! it's the canopy ride at Barachukki falls (one of the streams in sivasamudram waterfalls), it beats anything.. they will take you closer to the falls in a canopy (100 bucks for 4 members), man that was the most thrilling part of the ride..Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

Help required from all 135LS owners
Guys as I told you, I will be getting 135LS next saturday. Can the owners confirm that 500-600km long tours will be how much effective for this baby pulsar? I mean if any of you guys have done a long trip like this, please share your views.
With Great Power, comes Great Responsibilities .....

^^ Though I dont own one, but do know a decent bit about the capabilities of the bike. I can tell you that the engine is bulletproof, going by my experience.
Do take care before you open it though. I mean, run it in at least for a couple of hundred kilometers before you take it for a long tour.Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.
