  • Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i Specifications:
    Maximum Power: 14.09 PS @ 8500 RPM

    Bajaj Pulsar 135LS Specifications:
    Max Power: 13.5Ps @ 9000rpm

Trust me the 0.5ps difference doesnt matter at all...

Lets hope the 150 comes with a new UG...its definitely needed at this point...
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

            Pulsar 150 ug4 : 14.09 PS
            Pulsar 150 ug4.5 : 15.09 PS
But still that 1 PS does not make any difference in terms of POWER but it does make difference in smoothness ..! The engine feels more refined and RELAXED ..! When you ride it you wont feel like it is a Bajaj make ..!

That extra 1 ps should've given it RTR like initial pickup, is it not the case? Did it at least improve on it's top speed or mid range?

That is what i expected when i first saw the 15 PS figure in paper but still the torque is same 12.7x nm man ! So how can we expect rtr like initial ?? As i said earlier, there is no noticeable difference in power but the smoothness throughout the entire power range has improved !

Good luck on catching RTR. RTR smokes P135 P150.
But P135 is the first advanced bike from Bajaj which i liked very much.

                    Heres the deal...
                    should i go for P135 or P150...
I am confused as there is not much of a price difference i think...??

Which bike has a much more comfort level for the pillion...as my mother and sister may also travel with me sometimes...
So i need to care for the pillion comfort also...

i would suggest 150.. pillion ride on 135 is not very comfy as compared to 15o and the seat is too high...also the extra cc and torque would come handy...
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

hey the torque has taken an adverse hit...its now 12.5nm....& yes smoothness has increased greatly but is not noticeable in terms of power.top end has increased slightly.mid range is still weak.

Yeah But with speed after 70Kmph it acts like a sterilizer[vibration] machine...

I always felt that the mid and top range are the strong point in P150 . Initial pick up is not that good thanks to the heavy weight but it reaches 70, 80, 90 in no time. The top speed i achieved is 103 but still lot of power left and it does not feel sluggish at any point. Haven't tested ug4.5 top speed as its my cousin's bike.

                          @ sumon
Yes the vibrations are there at higher speeds but they are LESS and tolerable.

Guys we are discussing about wrong bike in wrong thread.. So lets put an end to this discussion.

P150 ug3 had great initial pick up but sluggish top end.but when i drove the ug4.5 it lacked midrange but had decent initial & top end.i went up to 116kmph in ug4.5 with very less vibration compared to ug3.
                                sorry for off topic
