If you are facing power drain something with your bike, get it checked asap.
so i am gonna give it for second free servicing tomorrow...what do i tell them in their words? also while idling it makes a weir tapping sound in between along with the engine sound.. btw it'll reach that top whack but the journey to the top whack is strenuous..with pillion on

Biker Kid, could you describe more about the tapping sound and strenuous top whack ?

I too can hear tapping sound (something similar to tapping two thin metal rods like the wheel rims like tik tik tik) not while idling but when I Rev hard (at any speed). If I am revving incremently no issues, but when I try to overtake a speeding bike I hear this tapping, down somewhere near the engine.

I too take my bike to 100 KM/H everyday but it is really not smooth especially between 60 KM/H to 75 KM/H. I am aware of the resonance vibs, but this vib is strong, can be felt at the seats too. An the engine noise at this speed is like that of a modded silencer. The sound persist even when I slow down from 75 - 65, and then becomes normal.

just back from service...apparently the tapping sound was because of loosened tappets,as for the pillion riding..i don't enjoy this bike with a pillion rider, it struggles on slopes and engine needs to be revved more then i would have liked to...as for the vibrations every new person that sits on my bike has a weird look on his/her face apparently they get scared because of the vibrations in the foot pegs and the sound the bikes makes...the sound is just awesome...bt after this service the sound has reduced...the engine is makin less noise..the vibes go away after 75...bt the mane prob still persists the idling it goes to about 1900-1800 even after getting it set from bajaj...wen the bike is cold its at 1300...it just keeps on fluctuating...also dont know wat svc has done but the bike has to be given 2-3 electric start and sum gas...only then the bike starts...earlier it used to start just by pressing electric start button..now it needs little accelerator also

A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

Please tell me how to ride or maintain the bike till first service to get good mileage and maintain smooth engine, pickup etc..
                Thanks to all in advace..

congratulation on your new bike, yes my man the bike is fantastic the smoothness will come after first service, just insist on castrol oil or other brand 20w50 grade oil rather than bajaj oil, it is horrible. just follow your manual and be gentle on the gears dont ride hard before the first service. the bike is'nt the smoothest bike but it provides you with lot's of thrills and chill's. ride safe bro.

Ask them if they have another brand cos i am really pissed after using dtsi 10000 oil, 500 kms in and bike feels really rough. Hard seat will soften eventually or you can get a cover made with softer padding. and the above is not my modified bike it belongs to a chap in indonesia

                              • Hi All, I am thinking of selling my P135LS. Reason: Want to buy automatic scooter so that my wife too can use it. I have driven around 5000 Kms and purchased it in Jan 2010. Bike model is 2009. Any estimate how much would it fetch me in Bangalore? Thanks.
