i think you need to talk to svc about the level of vibrations you are experiencing. I don't think it's normal.. even if they say it's common, it's not!! It does vibrate somewhere in the rev range, mine was between 6-6.5k (that's more like resonance frequency), in terms of speed it was like 60-70kmph.. but subsided greatly after second service. Shift to better quality engine oil, that should help you with vibrations & gear shifts.Originally posted by shashi007 View PostLet's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

?
Do i have to purchase it seperatly and give it to svc guyz ?Originally posted by vrugonnab View PostGo for Motul 15W50.. it's a mineral oil or even go for synthetic oil from Motul, which I think is not required for P135.. this oil change should also bring down the vibrations you are experiencing at some speeds. It will also help in making gear shifts predictable & smoother.
I'm just a noob be cool on me bro
and will it surely reduce (at least some
) vibration
Because i don't have any other problem in my bike 'm just annoyed with vibration only.Avenger 220 Street | P135

20W50 heats engine up pretty quickly. With 20W40 you will get low temp and very slight better performance.Yamaha Gladiator SS - Owned and Sold.

. Unless you operate that engine at very high temperatures and rpms for prolonged periods ( say days together continuously ) . Change it if it makes you feel better

Yes buddy, you have to buy it on your own. You can give it to svc guys or even local mechanic can do the job for 20 rupees.Originally posted by shashi007 View PostDo i have to purchase it seperatly and give it to svc guyz ?

Please refer the engine oils thread for motul distributors in Kolkata/your area. For the moment stick to Bajaj dts-i oil, though it's not as good as Motul.Originally posted by Soumen View PostHi Guys I Have A Major Probs..Please Help Me...I Am From A Small Town(Midnapore) From West Midnapore.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

Confusion
So Guys,
Heres the deal...
should i go for P135 or P150...
I am confused as there is not much of a price difference i think...??

Which bike has a much more comfort level for the pillion...as my mother and sister may also travel with me sometimes...
So i need to care for the pillion comfort also...Last edited by trsakhilk; 06-02-2011, 01:08 PM.

My pulsar with 20w50 engine oil runs cooler than with 20w40 engine oil. The performance will reduce a bit when you use a 20w50 oil where 20w40 is recommended . The engine wont rev freely .Originally posted by Sumondatta View Post20W50 heats engine up pretty quickly. With 20W40 you will get low temp and very slight better performance.

+1 to that.Originally posted by Prabhakar150 View PostMy pulsar with 20w50 engine oil runs cooler than with 20w40 engine oil. The performance will reduce a bit when you use a 20w50 oil where 20w40 is recommended . The engine wont rev freely .
20w50 would exhibit better cooling properties than 20w40 but the engine would not rev as freely as it would with 20w40. However, the difference will be minor.
If used during summers, 20w50 would perform better in terms of cooling but if used during winters, cold starting may be a problem and engine would rev less freely. 20w50 would feel smoother than 20w40 during any time of the year.
This is my personal experience. Experts please comment.Signals which are timed for 50 Kmph are also timed for 100 Kmph :)

The difference in price of P135 and P150 is about 9-10k. If you can extend your budget, always prefer P150. The pillion comfort would be much greater in the P150. Also, P150 is more relaxed in my opinion and more stable on highways and of course more powerful than P135.Originally posted by trsakhilk View PostSo Guys,
