A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

      • Hiiii... I'm also in Pulsar Family...

        Hey Guyz,

I'm Manoj from kerala. I'm new to xbhp and its my first post here.

I bought this bike (P 135 LS - Black ) last week and now 260KMs done. Its really amazhing, superbb performance. I didnt cross the 80KMs/hr becoz its the new bike but I feel its very smoothy in 60KMs/hr. My home to office is around 25 KM (50KMs/day), 10Kms in city and 15 KMs in highway. It handles all the roads very smoothly.

Only problem i felt was a sound on rear side, and its very hard. I believe its becoz of the chain loose. Dont knw abt it. I've to hear that sound many times becoz in kerala most of the roads are hvning big gutters...

overall, i love this bike and i'm njoying it

@trsakhilk me too had the same problem, So I went to the service centre and they fixed it, now its smoother

in manual its written 4000-4500 or 270 days which ever comes first

Ignore manual, Go for 1st service 500KM, 2nd 2500KM, 3rd 5000KM, 4th 8000KM. Its worth every penny in long run, my local Bajaj SC charge only Rs. 330 for service (Engine oil used is Valvoline 4T Premium 20w50).

Every 1000km~ lube your chain, use OKS 451 -

I totally agree with Sumon for one imagine the user manual says bajaj engine oil can go for 10000 kms which is completely absurd for a inferior class semi synthetic oil. Brother its advisable to get a service done every 2 or 21/2 months.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

hey! there bro hope you are doing well. there are a couple of things i want to tell you about. I was facing a problem with rear shockers making a "koye koye" sound got that fixed and coming to your problem. I think you might want to get your chain adjusted. If you go through the user manual of the bike, it clearly mentions that the chain should be adjusted and lubricated after every 500 kms. I suggest you get this done on regular intervals and things should be fine. I faced this concern as well and did the same thing that fixed it for me.

You pointed out correctly, but I am confused because I just got my chain overhauled and still the noise is present but now it comes only when i encounter very deep potholes....

The rear shock absorber spring of the P135 is made up of two seperate springs (instead of the usually found single spring) mounted on top of each other and is seperated by a metal ring/washer. This arrangement sometines causes noise when dirt accumulates on the washer and makes it dry and during rainly season.

A similar spring arrangement is present on the CB Unicorn Dazzler too.. and from what I have come across, even the Dazzer sometimes encounters similar issues.

The solution is to keep the springs clean and lubricated.. the service center guys should do it, when pointed out.
