I am a little confused here on when to do the Second free service of the bike.
It has run around 1600kms...i did its first service around 600kms...
In the manual it says 4500kms but i think its too long for a bike to go without servicing...
What do you guyz suggest....pls reply asap...
My gear is becoming harder and its very hard to shift gears now...moreover somethings loose inside the silencer...like a stone or some nut is inside it...dont knw...
Can i give my bike to the SVC just to get these probs solved and without going for the second service...pls help me here guyz as its my first owned bike and don't want to mess up my baby...
you can give it to the SVC mate. no problem. they will take care of it and yes, they will do it for free

i've done 800km on my bike so far!

i think i'll be going on a 150km drive next weekend.
feels so good to be on a bike!
    Why Biking?
Because all other sports need only one BALL!!

    • why is is it necessary to adjust valve tappet clearance's ? what will happen if it's left ignored?
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

+1 135kmph on a 135cc bike sounds impossible. At what rpm this speed was reached? Is there no rpm limiter?

You seem to be a die hard hater of BAJAJ.I think BAJAJ is not producing faulty speedo's to impress their customers. A person here used GPS and it recorded 129kph.

Speedo error is present in all the bikes, not just Bajaj.. even if you account for 5-8% error.. that top speed ends up being higher than the likes of FZ & Fazer, for which Yamaha is charging a good 15-25k more. Imagine the face of FZ/Fazer owners when a guy overtakes them on his P135, that's going to be good fun

By the way digital speedo's are way more accurate when compared to their analog counter parts.. so I would expect less than 5% error with them.

Firstly, comparing the pickup after 80 between the 135 and an fz, I wouldnt be surprised to see it hit the 130s. 120kph barely used 8-9k RPM.

Secondly, its indeed the dream product you seem so doubtful of existing. It gives 65kmpl, doesnt have any reliability issues (touches wood frantically), and is a better buy than anything upto the r15.

Personally i wouldnt upgrade to anything less than a Ninja. You'd barely notice the performance difference, and youd have fun with the petrol bills.
On a side note, how much is Shell petrol per litre in states besides Karnataka? Its the cheapest petrol here, but definitely of the best quality.

I still need to find the right balance between pick up and fuel efficiency!

Shell costs 71.55 per litre, the Super Shell or something. the normal one costs 69 something
