and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.

#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

    • Hi guys,
I just bought my first bike, a red/black dual tone pulsar 135ls. This is my first time on a bike as well ... because I come from a safety-maniac car only family .
One day when my bike had just crossed 200km, in the middle of traffic jam it started stalling. I tried a lot with the accelerator but it felt like it was not reaching the engine and it kept stalling.
As I am not that much experienced with the bikes, I thought some impurities were there in the fuel. I walked it to a mechanic and he told me the accelerator cable has come loose . After he fixed it, it was fine though.

      • check your steed thoroughly everytime you go out for a ride,,so that you don't need to face this kinda problems, enjoy your ride,i was in similar situation like yours, overtime my parent's perception about biking has changed, although not fully.

Guy does a 0-100 run in a little over 11 seconds.. it does sound like it's revving faster.

Thoughts? I don't believe the top speed but the acceleration seems solid.

When I used to say I have done a top speed of 136 no one believed me and that was alright. But now we have someone who has recorded a video and still people cant believe it !?!?!
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

i was talking about true speed not speedo indicated.

true speed is of course lesser, but this 135 sound unlike a stock bike..doesn't it?
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

I've hit the number myself, no arguments there. The thing is digital speedometers aren't completely accurate.. They usually have a 8% margin of error, especially after 100. This is true for Yamaha's and Bajaj's alike.
Overdrive's v-box says the 135 maxes out at a 110, which is still 5kph more than most 150's. The bike's already faster, why add any extra spice to the story?

The video description lists the following mods:

-standard engine ( non bore up, non stroke up )
-pnp ( porting & polished, made by tuink / thanks to bro arip )
                  -standard camshaft
                  -KEIHIN PE 28 ( pj 38, mj 120 )
                  -NGK spark plug CR8E ( primary ), DENSO U22FS ( secondary )
                  -Racing Muffler NMF
                  -Standard CDI & KOIL
                  -Fueled with PERTAMAX PLUS ( 95 )

My more bike savvy friend says the carburetor change would've made the most difference.. destroys the mileage though.

                  • Hi guys. I have got a blue/black Pulsar 135 about a month back. This is my first bike and I am riding it for the first time as well. Its a pretty decent commuter bike with sporty looks. The mileage is also good. The only downside I have faced is bringing the bike back to neutral from first gear when parking it. Also, I think the suspension needs some improvement since crossing the potholes is a hell of a problem for me with this bike. Any suggestions for the above mentioned problems??

                    • Gently prod it

Most face that problem, when new to the bike. I find that many riders stamp on the shifter to downshift, and whack it to upshift. Be more gentle on this one, try nudging it into place, with your toe preferably.
Once you find the right balance, it'll seem effortless.

Cut what I said. What you described just happened to me. Shifting gears was like kicking rocks. Problem was with my clutch cable. I think my chain needed lubing too. Bike was near its service interval so I just left those guys to do it.
Got the bike back, and everything's fine now.

                        • Hey everyone... Was wondering on which Engine Oil is providing the best in ur 135LS(s)????
After the 3 free services, I switched to try out "Wurth". Though with a little rough response of the engine at lower RPMs, it really gave a performance boost for my bike, not to say improved mileage... I touched 130KM/H after changing to that & could have done a bit more, but had to slow down.. I know that rough engine isn't gud in the long run, but the performance is what that's making me to wonder... M gonna try the Fully synthetic version to that Oil in the coming service.
                          Any reviews people????
