Oil leaking from the Gaskets is the biggest problem in the 135LS. I had to replace all the gaskets, (entire engine gasket kit) including magneto and clutch gasket. All replaced under warranty within 8K kms on the odo.

I am again facing the same issue after another 8K kms. Need to get it replaced myself as the bike is out of warranty now.

                Beautiful mods there bro....just incredible...
BTW does this mode effects your bike's performance in any way...
How much did it cost you??

                • thanks so much gust total cost as of now is half the cost of the bike itself....good thing is i made a business out of my passion to modify bikes...this is my first bike...and i saw that the pulsar has the potential to be a street fighter...there are a lot of modifiers here in the philippines...we love the pulsar...it's a great bike! as with the performance...better grip with better tire... more responsive with its lowered and monoshock suspension...i installed an oil cooler too...which makes the bike better even at hi revs...it also has a performance pipe...and hi flow filter...engine is stock.. but here....modifiers make the pulsar 135 a very fast bike by adding power mods to the engine...very simiilar to what is in race bikes....

Yep!! Guess the guys at BAL forgot to mention that teeny bit:

"Don't panic if your bike seems to have a mind of its own when you cold start it, and goes rev happy that is just the autochoke kicking it up so you can go zoom zoom".

Guess that was an oversight. The 1st time that happened to me..gotta say.. almost made me shit my pants.

I've been thinking about doing this, but friends told me it wasnt possible to fit one. The bike has never had severe overheating issues for me, but it does heat up after steady riding at 80kph.

Anyone else in India who's done this? And any procedure on how I could do so?

Fuel efficiency can vary from 70kmpl to even 35kmpl...thats what i have observed...depends on how you ride...

If you are looking only for mileage as the utmost priority..dont buy this bike..

Its not true that it cant go beyond 80kmph with a pillion...who was kidding you ? Did he know the bike has 5gears in all ?

I myself have done 126kmph(indicated) with a pillion..

Hey... can a higher grade oil like 15w50 cause any problems in our bike?? I'm using Motul 5100 15w50... will it hamper my engine??

Read the manual. What is the recommended grade? If it is 20w50 as per the manual, Motul 15w50 makes no difference whatsoever and behaves almost like 20w50. No ill effects on the engine.

                                Why? : Read this: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...gine-oils.html
