  • Hey nin, so you found some good empty stretch on 5th gear last time I tried I had to slow down from 119kmph on speedo (that's almost 10k rpm). But what's amazing is how this machine behaves at those rpm's.. be it happy revving engine or handling.. it's always ready to change direction.. never throws any tantrums.. like today.. on the way to office.. I was enjoying a good curve at 60+ speeds.. suddenly there was an auto in front of me.. freaked out.. but I didn't go for panic breaking.. just applied the front break slowly.. that's enough to stop the bike..(of course the auto was not right in front of me.. may be 3-4m away) without upsetting balance!!

    • true that...the only concern is the stock eurogrip...which i positively hate...the mrf zappers would have done a better job !
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

i bet there wont be any increase in bhp...and im not so pleased with this one...so how about doing a recording with a higher resolution cam and not in closed environment when its raining?...we will get a better idea of the exhaust note...

Atleast, it sounds nice. BTW, which company does this power filter belongs to? And why did you plonked it directly into the carburetor?

True. And that's why I had to select my bike for a second time in the warehouse (as I hadn't paid attention to the tires when I started & rode it when I picked it for the first time & later on found them to be Eurogrips) before taking delivery; so, selected a 2nd bike (with MRF Zappers) and rode it before I selected it for delivery & registration. The showroom manager was quite co-operative in this regard - and then I swapped the tires to the one I ride now.

The MRF Zappers are good for longevity & dry grip, but can upset you in damp patches.

                          • good for you..back here we didnt have any option...

the lot which came from the Wangni,Pune godown had eurogrip and bigger footpegs...whereas the lot which came from Chakan,Pune had zappers and flat, thinner footpegs...the showroom guys themselves didnt know so as to why so ?

P.S. In a months time the flat, thinner footpegs were replaced by the other when several complaints for them cracking came up...one customer kicked the bike with the footpeg down and broke it

                              • Anyone of you facing any problems when bike is started in morning?
engine shuts of just after auto choke stops working
i have to start it atleast 7-8 times to make it running
It also shuts of when throttle is used to stop it from switching off.
                                any idea whats wrong?
