Definitely the problem is not the traffic... I used to commute the same traffic on my Star City earlier. never had the pain at all.Originally posted by nin View Postyes get yourself a pair of gloves...the problem is not the clutch..its the traffic
and you will get used to the shifting of gears...
your signature is funny man !
About not getting the neutral, i think i may get used to it. But 2nd gear slipping down to neutral, is it Normal ? Do u guys have the same problem ? Initially I thought I am not shifting the 2nd gear properly into the slot but then the bike moves quite a distance nicely and suddenly slips down to neutral. I had the same problem with star city too, one main reason I wanted to go for a new bike but that issue comes along with me with the new bike too

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

thanks for the links guys...
but this one looks pathetic..
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

all of a sudden press of the clutch lever of my pulsar seems different...it's become like half clutch or something...i feel the clutch pressure only after i've pressed the lever almost halfway...something wrong? and i am goin to get the oil changed, not waiting for 1st service, it's done 240 kmsMost motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

May be your clutch cable is loosened. You can use the screw like thing near the handle to tighten it, or take it to the svc to fix it.Originally posted by BikerKid View Postall of a sudden press of the clutch lever of my pulsar seems different...it's become like half clutch or something...i feel the clutch pressure only after i've pressed the lever almost halfway...something wrong? and i am goin to get the oil changed, not waiting for 1st service, it's done 240 kms

Thats not the way to tighten the clutch ! You can do so by adjusting the cables near the engine ! if you dont know what you are doing refer manual or go to a svcOriginally posted by Lightsportz View PostMay be your clutch cable is loosened. lost the feel
hey guys just now my bikes second service was over but some thing is terribly wrong with my bike it lost the real feel of the pulsar there is no punch left the bike feels as if all its power is drained. it has lost all its pick up it feels like riding a 100 cc HH the bike is struggling to rev up when i increase the throttle.
The SVC guys are damn careless they have done sloppy work i think but i don't know the real reason for the loss of pick up, but this is my guess
reasons:
1.) i think one of my spark plugs is not firing
2.)or may be they have spoiled with my carb tuning
3.)or may be they forgot to connect the ECU (the ignition time mapping micro processor )wires after the electrical checks.
guys do you know any other reason or wat could be the reason among these.
any how i have lost my trust on the SVC guys iam going to get the help of my local mechanic on this.
plz tell me your opinionLast edited by anandkrishnan; 02-10-2011, 12:34 AM.
