    yes that happens...and is quite common with all pulsars...the black hole on the left side int the pic is the drainage hole and often gets choked with dust,mud,even small leaves...try keeping it clean by inserting a thin rod...or even better a wire...
    A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels,scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

        Hey, ive done 2400 kms on my 135, and its done with 2 services.
        Dad toppled it over at 80++ kmph on some dusty highway, but aside from a few scratches nothing serious seems to have happened.
        Bajaj test rode it for a bit, but say nothings wrong.
        Even so, what are common problems to be expected after the bikes gone for a toss? Right now, if i rev around the halfway mark, i hear a ticking sound. Didnt happen before.

            Which side did the bike fall? if it's on exhaust side.. then get all the screws tightened there as a precaution..

            ticking sound could be from tappets.. did they tighten them during service? if not it's about time.

              Strangely, both sides are scratched, but im going to go with the exhaust side. Theres a nasty scratch on the exhaust.
              The sound seems to come from my speedometer, but i havnt really been able to check out where it comes from.
              Ill try get the service guy to do something about the tappets...service guys never mentioned it before.
              Meanwhile, my handle bar was a little loose,so i got that tightened. Otherwise, no physical probs, and bikes smooth as hell.

                @vrugonnab do you take your bike to diamond district khivraj motors for service? I heard whitefield khivraj isnt that good, but i really dont know..

                  No buddy.. I bought it from Auto pulse, Bajaj, Marathalli. Service there is ok.. I stay with them when they service my bike, so that way they do things even if they don't like to

                        Well Mr. Bajaj has cleared the introduction of new Pulsar in 2011, so we should wait. Nothing on the cosmetics is confirmed as per till now by anyone.

                              Why? Because I too got a blog of my own (older than the above two) and I know that I am free to publish anything in it.

                                Ohh!! I did'nt knew that and Motoroids is I donot think just a mere blog and why would they say that Bajaj MD has confirmed it untill RB speaks out the words himself in the press. But, yes Mr RB has said launch of a all new Pulsar in 2011.
