These look pretty good. How much did it cost to put these?

150 is much more. I got the strips for Rs. 60 for both the tyres, although the shopkeeper quoted Rs. 70 at first.

Today, I went for service of my 150, there was 135ls. I found it interesting... The seats are wide, looks good. Also I noticed something about RVM's, it is different. It is not same as the pics shared by the thread starter. It was looking damn se..y. I was not carrying my mobile, so no picture. Can this be confirmed.........

This is interesting. Here is the snap of my bike showing the RVMs. The ones posted in page 1 and mine are indeed different.

I have seen two bikes (one red and one black) of the latest lot just out of showroom. The rvms of the newest lot is indeed a bit different than that on my bike (which is from the first lot).

                    • 555 kms done and 98 kmph touched (My Personal Best)........

My Bike today completed 555 kms on the ODO. I am enjoying every bit of my Bike from the beginning very much. Will go for my first free service next week.

Today, I also touched 98 kmph at 8.5k rpm at 5th gear (My Personal Best) on NH-2 with my friend as pillion. The bike was rock stable at that speed also. I just touched that speed and then let the engine braking slow the bike to a stop. Then I gave my bike rest for about 5 min and after that rode within 60 kmph. But I didn't redline in any gear as the engine is new. If I had redlined from 2nd gear onwards, then I could have easily reached above 110 kmph atleast. But after that, now I am having a feeling that the engine grunt sound is different at higher rpms (above 5k rpm) than that I used to have before which I am not liking and also it seems to be somewhat harsh at higher rpms. The engine oil has turned completely black and the level has also decreased than that before. I hope that after the engine oil change at first service, the bike will be smooth as before.

                      • I thought the wheel hugger would be the first thing to come off even before the polythene wraps . I was wrong.
                        Congrats brother.

                        • Hi
After riding my bike for about 15kms in reserve I filled my bile with 2.20 ltrs of normal petrol after and completed 149kms and reserve indicator came at 149 fuel efficiency = 67.72(149/2.20) if it is fully used.
after it i completed another 20kms without switching the knob to res.
is my bike giving this outstanding mileage or the meter is faulty?
most of the time i was riding in b/w 40-45kmph.
is it true even the first service is due i have completed only 563kms on odo.

Congratz bro, you are getting outstanding mileage (which is close to 68.1 as claimed by Bajaj). But, then you didn't cross 45 kmph mark. I ride within 60 kmph generally with short burst till 80 kmph once in a while and I am getting 50-53 kmpl.
Yes, the first service is due. It is within 500-750 kms or 30-45 days, whichever is earlier. Today, I got a call from svc for my bike's first service. They booked tomorrow's time slot at 3:30 p.m. for my bike. I have completed 589 kms till now.

                            • Leaking seals in new P135

This evening I got a chance to closely observe the P135 near my house. From distant thought it as a Hunk. Observed the detailing of the bike and the rear mudguard is an eye sore. Finally the engine part caught my attention where I saw dust collection along the engine case and the rest of the engine is clean, which indicates leaking of oil seals. Here is pic of it. Unfortunately, when I took the pic, my cam settings are at low res. Please bear with it.
