two change means one engine oil and one coating oil. I didnt saw which oil it was, but they said both are necessary in 1st servicing.

I know they r overcharging but nothing we can do.

Bro, please dont go for any coating of any sort.
When i gave my 220 for servicing, they charged 230 for oil change and 250 for some Nano engine coating which is a total crap and i have confirmed it with many, i got duped but you should stay off.

Deny them outright and threaten them that you will mail Bajaj and ask whether such coating is necessary and compulsory for warranty, see how they change track. Even better is to mail Bajaj first and get clarified on coating thing, i did same and PBK called me and apologised for forcing that crap.

Hi all, I am a new member and would like to share my experience with my Black Pulsar 135LS.
I have driven it for about 400Kms now. I am following the running in as specified in the owners manual. I Will go for 1st service in a week or so.
Though i havent had any major issues so far i do face a couple of minor ones.
Can P135 owners comment if they are facing similar problems or not and maybe solution too...
[1] When i drive over small pot holes at speeds of above 25KMPH i hear a 'Tak" sound from somewhere underneath the instrument cluster. I showed it at Khivraj, Indiranagar, Blr and after keeping the bike for a day they found out that this sound comes from the Fork and is present in all new P135 bikes. I road a friends P150 and didnt find any such problem and when i rode another P135 from the showroom the sound was indeed present. I am now speaking to a Service Advisor from Bajaj directly who has assured that he himself will be present when i take my bike for first service to look into the issue.
[2] The rear suspension makes squeaking noise when i sit on bike and get up from it. It is heard only when its quite around.
[3] The rear suspension seems to be stiff.
[4] The fuel gauge is not accurate. After filling just 6lts of petrol it shows full. As i read from P220 posts in this forum i guess this is a common problem.
        Appreciate your suggestions.

[1] Ya, that sound is also coming from my bike.
[2] My bike's rear suspension also makes that squeaking noise while sitting on the bike, i.e. when the suspension gets depressed.
[3] The rear suspension is made stiff to give good handling.
[4] Ya, you can not expect a fully perfect fuel guage on any Bajaj Bike.

1)yes i also heard some sound like that
2)yes, it makes noise because its new and not worked properly check it out after the first service.
3)yes, the suspension is on the stiffer side you can ask service center to make it soft.

4)fuel gauge is not accurate, but u filled 6lts the capacity of the tank is 8lts.

Hmmm... so it looks like point [1] is indeed an issue with all P135's. Did any one enquire with the service centers about it? We are still in running-in period. I dont know what will happen when we drive at higher speeds! I want Bajaj to repace the faulty parts in all the P135's, but thats not going to happen unless everyone complains about it to the service centers/Bajaj.
Regarding the stiffness of the rear suspension, point [3], i just want a better ride. I dont want the bumps to go through my spines.

Otherwise i do like the bike. I am enjoying my running-in period. I know its difficult to keep to lower speeds but this has its own charm... u know waiting it to be over and then hitting higher speeds.

i already complained about it they searchd for it but cant find why is it happening they assured me to get it fixed very soon they said when new bikes are launched there are some problems which cannot be found then r&d at bajaj comes up to fix them.

The suspension is made stiffer to make handling and cornering better. If you can compromise on handling, you can make it softer. But, the suspension is already in the second softer setting. So, you can make it at the softest setting, but I don't think that will increase the comfort to a great extent.
I not following the run-in completely as specified by Bajaj. I generally ride within 40-60 kmph, but once in a while I give short bursts till 75-80 kmph and once or twice I even touched 85 kmph. But I do not maintain those high speeds.

First when I checked, I got 53 kmpl with riding within 50 kmph (Only 3-4 times I touched 60-65 kmph). 2 days back, I checked and found 50.5 kmpl with riding within 60 kmph and once a day giving short burst till 75-80 kmph.

                          Rim Stripes

Today, I got White Rim Stripes fixed on my Bike's front and rear tyre rims. I used custom cut slim strips instead of ready made broader ones. After fixing the strips, the tyres are looking awesome and when light falls on the strips, they glow too. Here are the pics ...........

The stripes are indeed a bit thinner but look a little broad because of the illumination from the flash while taking the pic.

                                its damn good to look.
Tyre hugger doesnt look bad at all. Gels well with the bike.
Engine is too silent. Could not hear any sound even when i was standing next to that bike.
                                A winner for bajaj.
