Ya, I was quite surprised to see this thing...kick failing.....and self working. This is somewhat new from other bikes. But, I would like to say that the self starter is very good and responsive as compared to P150 UG IV.
Once I complete the run-in, I would love to drag it with my friend's P150 UG IV.

Same thing on zma-r too ! ! !
The self is more responsive than the kick, maybe it is made to be so as they know no one is going to use the kick unless extremely necessary and everybody will use the self only everytime. Hope, this issue gets ok with time.

@antz.bin :
I tried the experiment as stated by you. I rode for about 10 km using only the rear brake and no use of front brake. After returning home, I checked the front disc and it is just a little warm and not at all hot. I guess this is normal and there is no issue at all.

Today, I went for a brief ride through our city with my friend as pillion. We rode for about 30 km, then his mother called and we had to return. The experience was nice except for two minor problems.

1) There is some sound (like kach kach....) coming from the rear suspension when we encountered potholes and bumps. Is this sound coming because the bike is new ? Can I do something (like lubricate or any other thing) to stop the sound which is very irritating ?

2) When I use the rear drum brake some tak tak sound is coming (from where, I don't know). Is there any thing I can do to get rid of it ?

Please, some senior and experienced members give me advice on this..........

@Young boy: I have a few questions.
1. At what rpm does it hit 60 & 70 kmph?? at both 4th and 5th gear?
2. Is the engine comfortable at these speeds?
3. How is the rear suspension setup??, pulsars usually suck at this department.
4. Handling and grip?
5. The most annoying one...Average kyaaa hai???

Waiting for your reply.

Cheers.

Ya, the speedo console is very nice. It is taken from XCD135 but it looks better on the P135 than on XCD135.

1. As, i am still in run-in and the max. speed limit till 1st 1000 km is 45 kmph, so can't go for higher speed. But I have reached 60 kmph twice and then slowed down. I exactly don't remember the rpm, but it was somewhat 5-5.5k rpm in 5th gear.

2. Ya, the engine is very much comfortable at those speeds. It has a great pull and cold also pull from low to high speeds without any sign of stress visible.

3. The rear suspension is set up a bit hard on the bike to improve handling. In my bike, the rear suspension is making a bit 'kach kach.....' sound when it gets depressed. I will get it checked at the service centre soon.

4. Handling and grip are awesome. it is very nimble and cornering at progressively higer speeds is pure pleasure.

5. I don't actually know the average now. But going by the fuel meter, I guess it will be close to company claims.

The 'kach kach' sound might be from the loosened chain.Check the slackness of the chain and adjust it.
