Before starting this ownership thread i am dedicating this thread to Krishna Chaitanya aka Kriss who lost his life on October 2009
. He had a Suzuki Access when he came to passion hunt g2g held in Chennai with his scoot & won the event. I happened to met him on the event & asked about the scoot, he said “It’s really good scooter if you compromise with fuel efficiency” I told him that “My dad has a bajaj kristal now, when he changes the scoot I’ll recommend this scoot to my dad”. Now my dad got the scoot. If kriss was with us now my self, kriss & anand r (Chennai member) would have the Suzuki access now. So I am dedicating this thread to our ever living friend also our (ex) family member Kriss aka Krishna Chaitanya. Let’s start with my dad’s new scoot, how he got his new Suzuki Access. Before owning this Suzuki scoot my family had some bajaj products, Lml vespa gear scooter & good old Escort Rajdoot. My Dad used- Escort Rajdoot_ Lml Vespa _ Bajaj Spirit (70cc) _ Bajaj Kristal _ Suzuki Access(13th may 2010) My Mom used- Bajaj Sunny _ Bajaj Spirit(60cc) _ Waiting for Honda Activa 110 cc My self- Bajaj Discover 135cc_V1 Almost all brands are from Indian makers. Now for the first time a jap motorcycle maker joins our family & another jap motorcycle maker would also join us soon. Does any one have access please share your ownership experience with us. (It doesn’t mean you should own it, it may be your father, mother, brother or sister also) Is anything i left to say? Technical specification Engine Type- 4 stroke, single cylinder, air cooled, OHC Displacement- 124cc Bore& stroke- 53.5mm & 55.2mm Max power- 8.5 hp@ 7,000rpm (6.4kw @ 7,000rpm) Max torque- 9.8nm@5000 rpm (1.0kg-m@5,500rpm) Compression ratio- 9.6: 1 Carburetor- vm18, single Transmission- CVT Starter system- self & kick Performance 0-60 kmph- 11.58 sec Suspension Front suspension- Telescopic, coil spring, oil damped Rear suspension- Swingarm type, coil spring, oil damped Brake Front- Drum Rear- Drum Tyre Size Front-90/100 Mrf nylogrip tube type Rear- 90/100 Mrf nylogrip tube type Dimension Length- 1,780 mm Width- 650 mm Height- 1,125 mm Wheel base- 1,250 mm Ground clearance- 160 mm Saddle height-780 mm Dry Mass- 109 kg Fuel Tank Capacity- 6.4 liters Engine oil SAE 10w30 Picture Time Taking out the scoot for delivery ![]() For registration Side view (micro busa?) ![]() Head lamp ![]() Tail lamp ![]() Console ![]() Front telescopic suspension ![]() Side foot rest (see it also have the Suzuki name on it) ![]() Discover meets Access (Slim & sexy vs Bold & Bulky)
