After nearly a week, yesterday kick started (once) the bike without using the choke, it fired up without discomfort and it was a surprise and it had not happened before at all. Though the idle RPM waved a bit around .9-1k, after few minutes of warm up it stabilized at 1.1k.

Not helping, I need a detailed explanation on why its happening. I've heard that the bike's only starts up when kicked at TDC, right??? And on the CBZ-X thread heard PSR sir, saying something about a decompressor, and since Sriram sir, pointed out that his bike starts in the first kick and Arun bro said that in his it happens once in 30 or so kicks, so now my doubt is whether my decompressor is malfunctioning and refusing to bring the bike at TDC hence resulting in my current issue. And is the decompressor the same thing that makes the 'PICHKOO' sound when the ignition is turned off???

Ashwin the Tack sound you mentioned usually happens to me often when I kick. But I have not experienced any kicker slips so far as I remember. I usually use the kick start more than self. During mornings if the bike doesn't start in 3 kicks then I use self start and it will start for sure .

My first observation on Kicker going freely was in this very thread some time back, with the possible cause of the de-compressor getting stuck...I think members just don't wish to remember what they read and the thread is time pass most of the time.

I didnt replace any of the other plastics as i plan of riveting them together! I dont care much for the looks anyway.

The experience was HORRIBLE to say the least! The service adviser refused to give me a contact number and told me to get in touch with the mech and didnt even tell me who the mech working on the bike was. Although the service center is out of my way, i dropped in every evening for an update but the adviser just ignored me. Tried escalating this issue but no one seemed to care - i.e. till i decided to show up on the Fireblade! Thatch when they started taking me seriously! A day later, the bike was fixed and ready for delivery!!

Parts quality has gone from bad to worse! Cheap metal and horrible finish!!

Tomorrow ill put back the crash guard, aux lamps, LED's and HID's.

Cheers!
The blade talks.
Its really sad and pathetic of the SC to treat any customer like that.

Well for the rear i had done something similar to this.(Please refer the pic) One can use the fairing screws, also inside a washer could be used(which looks similar to the 2nd pic, i don't know whats it called) for keeping the screws in place. Its not the best solution but a very practical one and works great.

Guys please help its urgent.

Just now after washing my bike I was rolling it to the porch and suddenly a tack sound ( somthing broke inside sure ) came from the throttle and the throttle free play increased a lot I started the bike to check and the bike started and when I twist beyond the free play margin the bike revs normally but the thing is free play is half of the throttle now .

So question is any acc cable broke? Please reply fast because tomorrow I have an unavoidable trip

One of the throttle cables might have snapped.
There are two cables on the ZMA, check both.
