^^Happens to all bikes, irrespective of them running on spoke or alloy wheels. The friction between the asphalt and the tyre leads to generation of heat which heats up the tyre and causes the tyre pressure to increase.

Oil for Zma
Hi People,
I have a 2006 Karizma done 20K kms.
I have fitted K&N air filter, Bigger jet and a free flow exhaust system.
I wanted to try Castrol Power1 Racing Engine Oil 10W-40 (i guess) this time for my bike.
Has anybody tried it? Is it worth the money?
Also what is the Drain period for this fully synthetic oil.
I generally drive at higher ranges of RPM.
Thanks in Advance.Rachit K Dogra

First I thought that my bike had some problem, but when I checked out my friend's ZMA, it was the same problem....
When asked in the service center, they told that its common....
Yeah, even i 've seen the same thing happening on the rear mags of my bike. it happens bcos of the torque that drives the wheel which creates friction while rotating the wheel then transfered to the mags.

HI, even i own 2006august red zma, ive got K&N airfilter and NGK spark plugs, but i havent got the jets where can i get them from, please suggest.
And by the way i have used castrol power1 twice for my bike but the problem with it is that , the engine gets hotter while driving at higher RPM's. the heat is so much just within 2kms u can feel it on the legs thu the air. You can go for either MOTUL/MOBIL, which i am currently using is really good.

Dude As far as I remember when I got the jet changed the guy told me that he has installed CBZs jet which is supposedly bigger than Zma's.
And I think you can get CBZ jet from anywhere.
But Please confirm this from some good mechanic.
And thanks for the feedback of Oil.Rachit K Dogra

Effect of chasing the R1s [:P]
Yesterday I rode with the R1s for around 130km at an average speed of 110 kmph. Highest was something around 125kmph (Didn't touch red line). But I was continuously doing above 115kmph in my ZMA.
After this high speed ride, wherever I am parking the bike even after a small ride, I could feel the smell of petrol (almost similar smell) in great intensity. And this smell is staying for a long time. But before yesterday I have never experienced this smell. What has happend to my bike due to this high speed ride??
FYI: I have touched 120kmph mark before but didn't stay there for long time. I have ridden close to 550km in a day before but never continued riding above 110kmph for a long time. My bike has done 4100km and completed 3rd servicing a week back.A professional candid photographer - 17000+ followers. Be in touch

Have you checked if there is leakage of fuel? I have a feeling it's got nothing to do with 120kmph mark!

you got to buy a new knob for making it tubeless. I think ard 80rs and 200 for good ones.Originally posted by kiran_borra View PostI have been driving my ZMA-R since 1.5yrs and its done 25k kms....
Recently, I have got the tires changed for my bike...
Front I went for Michelin M45 (Stock size)
and Rear Michelin Sirac 120/80-18
I planned to go for tubeless in the rear but when we tried, air was leaking... so had to go with the tube for both the tires.....
Due to SIRAC, bike felt a bit heavy in the beginning... but after sometime I got habituated...
The handling (especially at cornering and high speeds) feels awesome now...
