If the packing are got damaged then you need to make new one's to get back the performance & prevent short circuit .

Yes I was going through many threads and found the consistent failure of these horns, shorting and making the Battery dead....so make sure you don't get into the same problem.

Gasket material is available as a sheet in Lorry spares sale shops...otherwise, Buy a thin cover FILE for A 4 paper filing. These files are a little thicker ,and soft...apply a thin coat of oil on the periphery lip of the horn frame and press it on the file outer cover..you will have the outline of the gasket including the hole positions on the file cover..cut and use it......
Better still, apply Three Bond and fix it..

When we buy shirts , baniyan , underware in its packing there is a medium hard papers which are very good to be as packing . I am using it in all those my windtones , megasonic & other horns.

PSR ji putting a three bond is not good idea it will stick the plate to body of horn so less vibration making low sound. For good sound the plate needs to be vibrate in that electromagnetic field .

By the picture everything seems fine , tied all 4 screw & just play it singly ( remove the connection of the second horn ) if sound is not good then you can adjust the point by its screw.

Main reason of failure is the water entering in it . to prevent short circuiting packings are always handy. & these horns need a lot more power so better to use relay & fuse with fuse box with it .

Yes the one coming from battery to button & from button upto horn , put a fuse box in between the button & horn supply
Not necessary to put on positive supply , you can put it either on negative supply too.
Mostly near horn will be good to put fuse box .

No need to put two fuse boxes on both wires , put on either of any wire is good.

Good idea,in fact I had saved a few of them for the purpose of making gaskets as and when needed....but wasn't sure if Aneesh will have it....

Even gaskets with correct tightening have the same effect...In fact I did get slightly higher out put when I made a gasket with thinner material and WIDTH..
                        .
